Not what I had hoped for

Unfortunately these just didn't work out. They are beautiful in the picture, but I felt let down by the actual product. The shade is a lovely grayish hue that gave a warm glow when turned on. The arm and the extension from the back were made of metal and the black with silver was stunning. However the back was made of wood and felt less refined than the rest of the piece. I only opened one of the two sconces that I ordered, but the sconce I opened had issues with both the dimmer switch and the harp. The dimmer switch would turn on, but then required several spins to turn off. The harp didn't set flush so the shade was crooked The harp for the shade is very small and the bulbs that were sent to me would not fit.

Bought two of these sconces for my daughters remodeled bedroom and they are perfect. She loves the light they give off and the add the extra touch of class that the room needed.

Perfect for my mid century kitchen. Love the look. I also purchased the drum chandelier and single sconces. Pleased with them all. Great in beige tan or grey color schemes. As my kitchen has grey tile. Canvas tan paint throughout the rest of house. LOVE them so pleased with my remodel into the world of mid century designing...but can be used in any look.

The sconces are beautiful --- I had a small problem and Wayfair to care of the problem immediately.

Love these! We put them in a conference room we just remodeled that had the original wood paneling with exquisite detailing and these were perfect to enhance the look of the room and still show off the beauty of the craftsmanship from over 50 years ago.

These sconces are gorgeous. Just what you would expect from Jonathan Adler. You get what you pay for.

Nice design but poorly executed in terms of quality.....Bulbs cannot be changed without removing entire shade and brackets.

black is actually a dark stained wood grain-- really pretty

The finish was richer and prettier than I imagined! do note that there is a knob on the actual mounting bracket where you can turn the light fixture on and off, in addition to having a wall switch.

Small wall lamp

I chose this wall lamp because it has a small, flat shade, so doesn't extend out into the room like the others do. It is beautiful, as well as expensive. However, it was very difficult to hang because there is so little room at the back to work when you have to put in the screws that attach the lamp to the base. Then, the lightbulbs required are not normal size, but are the candleabra type. When installed they reach taller than the harp that holds the shade on, so you have to push the bulbs to the back, without breaking them and the whole thing is crooked. It was the most frustrating lamp we ever installed.

A Gorgeous Lamp!

I recently received a pair of these that I ordered recently. I am as enthralled now as I was when I first spotted these online. Perfect proportions, great ambient light and just plain gorgeous design!!!
