This is a very well made chrome extension arm intended to be used to extend the shower head from the ceiling down about six or seven inches (7" including the flange). The material is heavy and appears to be well made and fully coated in chrome. It would make a very nice replacement piece if you already have this type of ceiling mounted shower and need a new extension arm. I use these pieces for projects that aren't related to the original use/purpose as you can see from the pictures. I hope this info is helpful.

They spared absolutely no resource and material to bring a stainless product with one of the most seamless transitions between base and of the thickest chrome plating that I've seen. Everything seems to had been deburred prior to plating which must add to manufacturing costs.

There's not a lot to say about this extension except that it works as it was designed to work. Chrome finish is evenly applied and appears to be thick enough to last a very long time. You will need teflon tape for the threads to prevent any leaks.I would like to see it offered in different lengths and a brushed nickle finish. I put this extension in an outdoor shower by the pool and it looks great in that location.

Attention DIYers, don't attempt to install yourself if you are not comfortable with touching water lines. The install for this shower arm is not your traditional install.

Very nice arm with flange. Top quality components. The chrome is heavy duty and very consistent. The flange is machined not stamped and is heavy duty. It is held in place by an allen set screw and the wrench is included. The only thing that I wish it had was flats on one end to be able to install with an adjustable wrench. As it is you will have to be careful not to scratch the chrome with a wrench or rely on using the shower head to finish tightening the complete assembly. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars all around.

I installed this 6 inch ceiling mount shower arm in my shower. It was a great added extension for my shower as it enables you to have your shower head above much lower while in the shower. Being closer gives you a much better water flow to your body and feels even better. It really appears to be of excellent quality material and the chrome finish looks great.
