These are great. Packaging was top notch. This is a set with the self sharing butcher block. Super sharp and is cool that it sharpens evertime that I remove a knife from the Block. Makes a beautiful addition on my counter top. The scissors cut well and so handy for everyday uses.

I've had this Calphalon Premier 7 piece knife set for a while now, and I find this set to be very well-balanced. It's fits well in my hand, is very sharp, and stays that way with its spring-loaded sharpener. The block is very well made. Nice looking on my countertop. Cleaning is as easy as a wipe with a sanitized cloth. The only thing I would change is removing the paring knife and kitchen shears and replacing it with a boning knife, but that's just me. My conclusion is that it's worth every doller.

These knives are very nice. They are made of quality steel. They are heavy to the touch, but not too heavy. You receive a variety of knives, including shears. They are in case in cutlery case which sharpens the knives while they’re in their protective environment. You can cut anything from Fruit vegetables to raw meat or possibly even bones. The blades are very sharp the base that the knives sit in is heavy and very sturdy. I am very pleased with these knives and look forward to using them more in the future. I would definitely recommend them as a gift or an enhancement to your own kitchen, love them! The safety features on these knives include being able to keep them in the case. Of course, with any sharp object, you have to handle it with Care.

These are very sharp knives and are great for cutting. They are effortless. When handling , they are very durable and good quality. I love that each slot on the wood storage block each have their own sharpener. The handle is smooth and easy to hold the knives, so when using, they will not slip.

I needed a set like this and am so very pleased with their function, quality and the very nice look on my kitchen counter which especially match my stainless steel appliances. This knife set far exceeded my expectations! The knives must be handwashed and are very sharp.

First of all, I let me say that I have never in my over 50 some years have seen or used knives such as these. The holder that they are in is durable, and does not take up much room on my counter which is nice! There are 5 knives, one which is serrated. Hurray! Love that one for cutting both tomatoes and bread. The kitchen scissors are most wonderful as we get Dinnerly, and open a lot of things! The Calphalon 7 Piece Knife Set is very pretty and functional for my intended use. They are sharp! I hand washed and dried before my first use in soapy warm water. These knives are not to be thrown in the sink and soaked or placed in the dishwasher as this can cause rust. I do not have to use excessive pressure to sharpen knives, my natural motion does the trick when placing back into the self-sharpening knife block. The knives are not high carbon steel they are stainless steel. I have decided to use these with fruits and vegetables only. Thank You Influenster
