The grip does a fabulous job of keeping the rug in place. That being said- when you first open the package- the chemical smell is terrible. You will want to air it out outside for several hours.

Great rug pad with just the right amount of thickness to enhance my machine washable rug. Keeps the rug in place!

Didn't work

Bought this along with a small threshold welcome rug. The rug didn’t slide itself on hardwood floor, but then added the grip rug and it extremely slippery.

Overwhelming smell

Seems functional, but the smell upon taking it out of the packaging was overwhelming. I expected some smell, but it absolutely took over.

Perfect

This works so well. It’s perfect for my kitchen mat. It would never stay straight before but now it doesn’t budge. I plan to buy more for the mats in my bathrooms.

Under rug Matt

I put this under my thinner Matt & its working pretty good so I will be definitely keeping this

Perfect for my rug

Perfect. Bought for a 7x10 thresh hold rug. Went down easy, keeps the rug in place and I have an ottoman that sits on it as well that doesn’t shift! Definitely recommend.

Great fit for our new rug, economical, easy to lay down.

Works well

Bought 2 to be used under a couple of rugs that were in wood floors. Worked as expected and prevented the rugs from sliding when walked on. Product is thin enough that you do not feel or see a difference between the areas with the pad and the areas without.

You get what you pay for.

This rug pad is very thin! It provides no grip as I can still slide the rug across the floor.

This is the perfect rug pad for the new 8ft runner that I bought for my new home. Does a good job keeping the rug in place. Highly recommend!

Perfect pad for the runner by my front door. It is keeping the rug in place without any bulk allowing the front door to open and shut easily. Yes! my beautiful runner came from Wayfair as well.

Dog-proof but smelly

I put this under my 5x7 rug and it does the job. Minimal movement when our 80lbs dogs run across it, so it fit my need. Only thing really that I didn’t like was the smell, pretty awful strong odor that took about a day to fade. Get it on sale if you can, then 100% a good buy.

Great Hold!

This worked great to keep our new rug in place on our hard wood floor, even the dog can’t move it now!

Eh.

This worked well for the first day or two, and it fit nicely under our 2x3 entryway rug. However, now it isn’t doing much to keep the rug in place. It slides around and peeks out from under the rug, or gets bunches up so the rug on top feels lumpy. Maybe it would work better on a larger area rug, or somewhere with less traffic. We’re going to switch to the rug tape instead.

Perfect for providing grip on slippery floors for older dogs

I actually needed something to help my older dog have grip while posing for a photoshoot. This was perfect! It allowed my dog to have the grip to feel comfortable while posing on otherwise slippery surfaces.

Disappointed

Doesnt grip at all and is deceivingly small. Check the smaller nonbolded numbers.

Doesn't grip, fit or play nicely

Doesn't grip at all! I have wood floors and it completely slides around. Also, read the package. It says it's the perfect fit for "___" sized rug but the actual dimensions are MUCH smaller than the rug you are buying it for. Wish I had read reviews here first about how it leaves a staining pattern on floors too. I'll be returning this.
