Crap instructions and no label on anything.

This product is very fragile, when I pushed the dowels through with my thumb, it actually went right through the finished side. The instructions are crap, they number the screws and other items but don't label them, and throw them into 2 unmarked bags. None of the sides shelves and other parts are not labeled either. For something that should have took me 2 hrs to build took 6. Not impressed, it does look nice, especially if it didn't have holes in it now.

Worth

Had a problem with the pegs not wanting to fit but other than that pretty easy to put together. Would recommend having at least one other person help put together. Stable but don't recommend putting anything to heavy on top. Drawers are kinda small but still fit quite a lot

Has Lasted 5 Years So Far

This dresser is great! We bought it for our high school son, then he took it to college and now has it in his apartment. It's still in great shape 5 years and 3 moves later. The drawers are not huge so be prepared for that. Otherwise-it was a great buy.

I replaced the knobs with cute leather knobs and love it. I’m a single female who put this together and moved from the living room to bedroom myself for reference. I looked up a YouTube video and followed the instructions at the same time and this took me about 1.5 hours to piece together.

Well made, easy to assemble

This dresser is made well compared to other manufacturers that use a lot particle board. It's easy to assemble, as my wife assembled it for me. The only issue is have with it is that some of drawers are a litter smaller than the one I had before. All I all I am satisfied.

Please prepare before putting this together

So I love the dresser. The drawers aren’t as big as I would have liked but it’s a nice dresser. Would probably work well if you hang some clothes and fold others, or as a kids dresser. It’s very cute. Mine came with some scratches and chips. And it is hard to put together. We’ll need to take your time if alone and prepare beforehand. Read the directions carefully. I just wish there was more depth to the drawers

Lesson learned. Put the whole thing together only to have the bottom crack in half after putting the in drawer in. This is the first and last piece of furniture I’ll purchase from overstock.On top of that the drawers sat in crooked and one side was longer which probably cause the crack. Poorly constructed out of the Box.Now it has to be taken apart, boxed up and shipped back only to receive another which I’m certain will be of the same poor quality. What a pain.

Very disappointed

Like the look of the set I purchased but parts missing. Have purchased the nightstand, no problems. Purchased the six drawer and five drawer dressers and both missing parts. Also, the five drawer, when putting it together the dowels went through and broke a piece of the dresser off. They send you a black marker so you can color in scratches but really? It’s not a great picture but both sides have this damage. My fiancé put it together and does not want to return it. I think he is tired of putting furniture together 😡

Smaller but decent

This is a solid dresser for what it is. I did a little purging and downsizing and replaced a much larger dresser with this one. It is a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be. The construction is pretty solid though. My dad put it together and he doesn't follow the directions included with new furniture. He did have to go back and redo a few of the slides and other small details. Overall would recommend for a smaller space or a single person with a smaller amount of clothing to put in it.

Sturdy and good quite dresser.

The dresser is great. It's sturdy, has big drawers, and is just tall enough. The finish is interesting, because it's not solid black. It has wood patterns that streak with a little brown, the detail makes it even better. Although, there was one thing that bugged us, THE WHOLE DRESSER NEEDS TO BE ASSEMBLED! We didn't mind because we're pretty handy, but I could see this being an issue if you've rarely built a largish piece of furniture. Other than that we are really impressed with the quality of the dresser now we'll see how it stands up against children.

Great for price!

I was skeptical because of the bad reviews but I decided to give it a shot anyways. Opening the box I was nervous but everything was in perfect condition. There are a lot of pieces and it can seem overwhelming so I suggest that you take the time to take everything out and sort all the parts. Sorting the parts will also help with making sure you're not missing anything while assembling, missing one piece could cause it to fall apart. It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble and I reinforced everything with wood glue. I added my own crystal knobs. It looks great! Pro tip: If you are not handy, do not buy furniture you have to assemble. If you complain that it was not made well, keep in mind that you are the one who made it!

Very impressed!!

Wow, this chest is better than i expected. It looks so good and so easy to assemble. I was a bit apprehensive about putting a whole dresser together myself but i did it...i built a dresser all by myself. Ive put together so many shelves and tables in my life and i always run into a problem, either terrible directions, damaged parts, unlined holes, or crap screws. Everything about this chest was exceptional. The best instructions ive ever seen, no damages, and good quality parts and screws. Chest is gorgeous and sturdy. Very satisified Home Depot:)

DO NOT BUY

This item is horrible. It comes with a black furniture marker and several pieces black paint is completely missing. The marker makes it look like you drew on your furniture. Some of the drawers had gashes on the corner. The drawers fall out. You can not put these 3/4 of the way out unless you want it to fall on your toe. It’s hard to align the tracks together. You can only pull it out halfway. I tried to put socks in one drawer and the drawer caved in. It couldn’t even hold socks! The quality of the product is cheap is comparable to dollar store plastic plates. Believe the reviews. DO NOT BUT THIS.

The picture is pretty accurate other than the very bottom shows brown wood for some reason. But it does not bother me. On a scale of 1-10, I would give a 7 in terms of difficulty. There were just too many parts which made it time consuming and the instructions were not easy. The length of the drawer is pretty short, it does not pull out much. You can probably only fit around 6 pairs of jeans in one. Its pretty hard to stuff more. Other drawers I've had would fit 10-12. Luckly, I have plenty of closet space so it was a great help for the extra things I did not want to hang. The drawers are also sturdy

Very nice, especially for the price.

Bought this for my teen-aged son to replace his "little kid" dresser. Would not have thought that a teen boy would care much about such things but he really likes it. He lies how the drawers slide in and out so easily, it looks sleek, and smells really good with a wood smell. I noticed that he keeps his clothes extremely neat and orderly in his drawers now. The price is amazing for how nice this piece of furniture is and I would definitely recommend. In fact, this is the second one I have purchased from Overstock. I originally bought one for my older son. Thank you, Overstock. Nice to have a piece of furniture delivered right to my door and for free!
