Great Set of Reins

I was looking for a good set of reins - great leather, thick, and durable. I read the other comments and thought I would try them. The first set I ordered were 3/4" and they were just too wide. Don't get me wrong - the leather was great, but they were just too wide. I ordered the 5/8" ones and they are perfect! Nice thick leather - well made. They are not as dark as the photo shows, but I just went over them with the Neatsfoot oil and let them sit for a couple of hours in the sun and they darkened right up. If you want a set of reins that are great for everyday use, these are the ones! Great buy!

Amazing Reins

I bought these reins to match the Weaver Protack Oiled Browband Headstall. These reins were very supple right out of the box and matched the headstall. I love how they feel in my hands, the only bad thing is that they can be kind of heavy when showing with them with one hand. However, these reins work great when working a horse in a snaffle bit and you're using two hands. They are weighted on the ends of them, which is a huge plus. The reins themselves are very thick and are made to last. I've had mine for several years and they are still in great shape. Love these, will buy again! Don't forget the matching headstall!

Weaver Leather - ProTack Oiled Split Reins

These reins are great. I had a set much thinner, they only lasted 2 summers of riding and hurt my hands. These reins are very comfortable and heavy duty, it is my third set
