Never again.

I got 2 of these as a gift for Xmas and they both had unfinished drill holes to properly put it together. And scratches on the wood itself. And have small gaps/spaces where it is cheaply made. Would NOT recommend. Just wait a mr buy something nice. Also charged for 55 dollar shipping when I have a promo code. Like I said never again.

Beautiful and solid

I purchased two of these bookshelves to replace some that were falling apart and mismatched after a move. Impressed with how solid the construction is - the shelves are thicker than most bookshelves and our book collection looks great on the shelves. The only minor inconvenience was that the front decorative top piece was cut incorrectly, which resulted in a gap between the top and side pieces (on both bookshelves). I am pleased to report that I contacted the manufacturer directly and have so far received great customer service. They replied to my email the next day (on a Saturday!) and will be sending me replacement pieces at no charge. Overall, extremely pleased with the product, and if our book collection grows we will purchase another of these bookshelves!
