thank you for the very nice dog grooming brush. it is a very fine brush, but be aware that the tips of the bristles do no have tiny plastic balls on them, in case you that is something you expected.

This is really a nice brush. I use it on my cats and they line up to have their turn! The ends of the spines are tipped with plastic so it is very gentile on their skin. The trigger on the back pulls the spines in so that all the hair can be wiped right off the brush.

I love this brush. I've had slicker brushes in the past; they were a pain to clean. This just wipes off of the smooth surface when you retract the bristles. Perfect.

Love this wire brush and its retracting bristles, it makes cleaning out hair from the brush a breeze! No more scratched fingers. Plus it feels good to our dog, she comes running when I show it to her!

Sturdy for home use
I am a professional dog groomer. While it is not designed to be used for hours each day, it is good for dauly home use. The bristles retract into the casing, and this helps prevent the bristles from bending out of shape. This is a problem I have seen on different designs of self-cleaning slicker brushes
I recommend pet brush.
With my old brush, my cat would always be difficult to catch to brush her. Now I use this brush and it's almost like she really enjoys it; every time I open the drawer I keep the brush in, she runs to the drawer and meows. Great brush and thanks!

Professional groomer here. I bought this to use on my husky at home. It is sturdy and does the job. The self-cleaning mechanism does what is says on the tin. I have recommended it to clients with doodles, poodles, and double-coated dogs.
Love this brush!
Large brush works well and doesn’t irritate skin!! The bristles work well with taking out knots I have a maltipoo and it works well with curly hair. The bristles are retractable so clean up is easy. I do use a dog comb afterwards though
