This was invaluable it every application I used it for! I couldn't believe it even helped me in scored cement board! I love this tool and now that I've used it, I would say it is worth more than the price I paid!
Broke first time I tried it.
The very first time I tried this in a piece of tile, one of the plastic parts broke in half making it useless! Why would you think plastic would be stronger than tile?
Does not cut or break the tile cleanly. Have to return product.
The handheld cutter came in handy cause of the condition of the tile I purchased at home Depot. I could see it was damaged but that's all they had. Damaged pieces. It ended up working out ok
Gotta make a strait cut, get a guide. I’m not got with free hand strait lines.. but it works.
Score wheel is useless
Easy and Affordable
If you have only a couple tiles to cut, this is a great, afordable option. Be aware, I learned the hard way this does not cut through porcelin.
This tool is hard to use, almost impossible to use a straight edge to score a line because the screw and nut holding the cutting wheel sticks out and will hit the straight edge. Had to use freehand and it takes a lot of downward force to score the tile, had to put a rubber pad under the tile to keep it from moving. Bought this because all my cuts were 3/4" or less. Had to use tile nippers a lot to finish cuts. Finished the job, wouldn't recommend for a larger job.
It is very difficult to score as straight line on a tile with this tool. When breaking, it is a random crap shoot whether the ceramic will break in a straight line or very crooked. I went through a bunch of tiles and was down to my last two that needed cutting. I went to a friends house and had him use a tile saw. I should have done that from the beginning.

Good
Great for the small tile cuts
Didn't cut not one tile. This item was returned with sheer disappointment.
Don't Waste Your Money
A piece of junk...don't waste your money. The scoring wheel does nothing and only 1 of 4 tiles cut as measured.
Actually I was surprised at how easy it was to use. For a small, inexpensive cutter it was very efficient. A slight pressure was required to ‘score’ the tile. Then, following the instructions you use the cutter to clamp down on the scored area and break it off. This item is for ceramic wall tile. Safety glasses should be worn.
It worked ok, I had a 8x2 inch ceramic tile. I needed to make a straight cut, it veered off a little on the ends. Not sure if I could have filed it straight-I didn’t try. Decided to rent a wet saw.
The cutter worked as expected and arrived quickly
Perfect tool for small tile jobs, in my case, the border on a fire pit.
The product worked well for our project of cutting a long tile.
Barely scored the tile , when we went to snap the tile it would break tile.
It did not work for me. I bought it for a very small project, and it didn't help to cut anything. It was a waste of time and money. I will definitively will return it to the store.
