Dealing with wayfair is absolutely the worst online company I have every dealt with. I spoke with 3’ employees prior to placing my order to find out the incorrect order arrived. Then my item was cancelled cause it could not be fulfilled.

The face plate was of very good quality with one exception, the magnet that holds the door closed is very weak. Also, the box was made of plastic. I was very disappointed that it wasn’t made of a higher quality material such as stainless steel for the price point. Other than that the product looks great and serves my needs.

Junk Do Not Buy

The mailbox was put in by a mason building a new brick mailbox, bought in 2016 it looks awful now 2021. The salt from the roads ate the finish right off. Called qualark they asked me if I went outside in the winter to clean it off, so every time it snows and salt gets on it your supposed to go outside and clean it off... are you kidding me.

Mailbox magnet continues to fall off. This piece is cheaply made and the door will not secure, because the thin, cheap magnet which is supposed to secure it continues to fall off. I have tried super glue, liquid nails and more. It holds for a few days and then fails, allowing the mail from the box to be blown out by the wind. We don't live in a super windy area and this piece sits inside a large brick mailbox. Not sure what I'm going to do, but this mailbox is total junk. Stay away from it.

It’s larger than expected. Looks beautiful set in brick in a mailbox we just had built. Feels very strong and durable. Elegant looking.

product is great but website shows the box and the column, i thought i was buying the column also and only recieved the mail box insert and when i call support they said the column was un available so now im stuck with a box insert and no column. please advise.

Works as advertised, very happy with it. Packages - mailman may not discriminate on size, one ‘hung up’ in the chute. Not a design issue, will talk to the mailman.

Cheap plastic garage can buyer beware!

The description for this mailbox clearly states that this is a cast aluminum mailbox. The faceplate of this mailbox is very nice, made of cast aluminum. The masonry box it comes with on the other hand is nothing more than a cheap plastic garage can. For $280 I was expecting better quality. The description does not say anything about the actual box being made of cheap plastic. I am very disappointed with this product.

Quality but was surprised to find that the inside was plastic. Only time will tell how this will last guy then again I've seen plenty of metal ones rot. The door stays closed with a magnet we did have to add a stronger glue because the original adhesive wasn't strong enough. We had the column custom built around it. Expensive but worth it. If you're already spending a small fortune for the column don't skimp on the mailbox! We've had this for almost three years now. Held up nicely so far which u expect for the price.

It had some scratches on the door handle out of the box which was disappointing but from afar it looks great! It was packaged great so they had to be there when the box was packaged.
