Mixed feelings

Within the first week it was all scratched and I left a cookie sheet in the sink overnight to soak and it left a large rust mark. Same with my cast iron fry pan. I was able to get the rust off with a lot of elbow grease and Vim. Because the sink is totally flat, you are spending lots of time and tons of water to get the bits of dirt and coffee grounds to the drain. But it looks good.

I absolutely love how sleek this design is, and it looks beautiful with the countertop.

This sink had rust spots develop within days of install. Also, there is not enough slope to the drain so food does not easily drain and I have to constantly "clean" the sink. I would not purchase again.

I purchased this to replace different Blanco sink. It was a white silgranite sink that looked awful after a few years! This sink looks nice but sounds "hollow" if that makes sense and yup, it scratches. The first day there was already a scratch from my stone bakewear. Good price. Ok quality. Ultimately I purchased this because it had to fit the hole that was already existing in my granite countertop.

I love this sink. It's small enough so it's easy to clean, deep enough to hide dirty dishes, large enough to wash cookie sheets and larger pans. I have a very small kitchen, so I needed a smallish sink. It looks nice too.

Great Sink - But Disposal Issue

We love this sink. It is large and deep. The one issue possibly could be for remodels that the depth of the sink prevented us from using a standard garbage disposal. There wasn't enough room between the bottom of the sink and the drain pipe in the wall to connect it. We needed to purchase a short profile disposal, and then it barely fit. Make sure of your dimensions before purchasing.

Outstanding quality and value!

The square Blanco sink is the perfect addition to our new kitchen. The quality is great, the countertop installers said it was a very typical installation and the price was 1/2 of that which my local shop charges for the same product - Bravo!

The gentle lines allow the water to elegantly disappear down the drain as if it's magic. The sink is lower in depth than other "standard" sinks. The size is perfect for a small city kitchen. Price point is competitive to other non-brand or non-European branded sinks. However, note that the design is German, but manufacturing is China. Still, our sink appears to have excellent quality. We'll see how the sink holds up over time.

I'm super happy with this sink and the great price I got on Home Essentials Direct. It is stainless and it doesn't stay perfectly shiny unless you protect it from scratches. I planned to use it a lot and am not stressing. You can't see that the bottom is scratched unless you are standing at it...using it for what it was intended. I use a dish drainer on the smaller side which works perfectly to keep dishes off my counter. I take the dish drainer out when I have a big project and love the depth of this sink.
