shipped super quickNo instructions came with the headboard but it was pretty straight forward to assembleNote to anyone looking to buy this if you have a low profile box spring it wont look goodYou have to have a normal profile box spring so the headboard sits just at the top of your mattressAlso when I have the headboard pushed up against the wall it doesnt sit flush with the wall because of the baseboards so there will be movement as you lean against the headboardI had to stick a pillow behind the headboard so it lessened the movement of the headboard
