This pillow delivers on comfort 100% and I love it for that. Unfortunately it doesn’t deliver on coolness. - it’s cool when you lay down, but it doesn’t stay that way for long. I would wake up in the night with my neck all sweaty and the pillow would be really warm. Sadly I have gone back to my buckwheat pillow for now. Maybe once it gets hot I’ll try again.

Shape is not as useful as it looks

I like the material in this pillow, but the cutout for assumably the shoulder is quite useless. It's not better than a regular pillow when it comes to the shape. I bought the queen size pillow which is just... awkward. I have a king bed, but for sleeping, a regular-sized pillow is more useful. I would prefer this pillow material in a regular size and shape pillow.

I love my gel memory foam pillow it's nice and comfortable and my family members want to steal it but I'm glued to it I haven't had a neck or headache, it seems cooler then a regular pillow and it is firm so if you like soft pillows this is not for you! Love it.

Great pillow for a good night sleep.

Great pillow. We have had for over 3 years now and we love it. We miss it every time we are on holiday and wish we could bring it with us. Look one star off since we don't really use the gel cooling side. We have had time when we thought it was a bit too cold. If I were to need more I would buy the ones without the gel. However that's just personal preference.

Thus far BEST pillow for my neck & shoulders.

I purchased this pillow in store about 3yrs ago. It took a couple weeks to get used to it but once I did, using other pillows I’ve found does wreak havoc on my neck! I’m 40+ years old with the usual aches and pains but not with my neck when using this pillow.

Best and most supportive side sleeper pillow

Honestly one of the best and most supportive pillows I have EVER used - and I typically purchase new pillows quarterly. As a side sleeper who likes a firm pillow and someone who deals with shoulder pain daily, this is perfect. love the cutout for the shoulder - I can finally sleep through the night on my side and not wake up secondary to pain. Waited to write a review as most pillows lose support after a couple of months and this has held up wonderfully. Would buy over and over again, but finally - I don't need to!

MyHubby’s Favorite Pillow

Okay so we have had & still do an assortment of various types of pillows all high end mind you including the ones custom fitted for you. This pillow Z by Malouf Side Sleeper Z Gel + Gel Memory pillow is Finally the One for my husband; that’s it, no need to try anymore. Now for me it’s too high but I’m under 4’10 and weigh 84lbs. on top of having neck issues so it’s too much for me. I’m sure others would find it just right for them if they are fairly large.

This is like the fourth one I have ordered I travel back-and-forth to family members I’ll leave one at They are so I don’t have to carry mine works great for me and my migraines love them I must for me Best price I have ever saw on these pillows

Great pillow for side sleepers!

I purchased this Malouf pillow originally when I bought my Tempurpedic bed last year. I needed and extra pillow but the price at the furniture store was steep. I was delighted to find the same pillow here in Overstock at a better price. It is a wonderful gel pillow, keeps your head cool, with the right amount of support. Not too soft, not too hard. The curved shape is specifically designed for us side sleepers. Your shoulder and neck are perfectly nestled and you don't experience that pinching sensation that you do with regular pillows.

Pillow is very comfortable

The quality of the pillow is great. It is very comfortable, and never goes flat. I think there is room for improvement on the cut out for the shoulder. The only other thing I would prefer is a standard size. This was only available in queen size. My husband likes it too, so we are going to order one for him too. I would definitely recommend this pillow to anyone, especially if someone needs pain relief in the neck.
