Effective.

Needed this mattress for my guest room. Came rolled up and vacuum sealed. Was easy to take out. Let it sit for 24 after removing the plastic. Was soft but firm but not too firm. Corners are not reinforced like other more expensive mattresses from the actual store but I don’t care about all of that. I got a queen size. It’s slightly smaller than the Queen folding frame that I have. Also not a big deal. Very comfortable. Looks nice. Feels nice. There was no smell. Served its purpose. I purchased this in June. It’s now November. Still holding up great even with regular use. Thinking about getting another one.

Fantastic support and comfy softness. We are thrilled with this mattress! It was so easy to set up. Perfect height and size. This is our second Zinus mattress and we've noticed that they are a brand who goes above and beyond to give their customers the best. Decent for the money

I needed a mattress for my guest daybed that was no more than 10" thick. This mattress was a good choice. It came vacuum packed. Once I opened the bag it expanded immediately. No complaints. Just don't expect a thick luxurious mattress. This is used on a guest bed. It might not be the most comfortable for a person that weighs 280 plus pounds.

Wouldn't recommend

Mattress is made to sound very comfortable and looks much bigger on the photos on website. It's like sleeping on a box spring and throwing a cheap foam piece on top. Was expecting much softer and way more comfort. Also no side support. I'm not heavy at all, 130 lbs. And sides squish down when sitting on side of bed. Now the trouble of trying to return the item I'm sure will be a hassle. There's no way it won't get dirty if I were to carry outside, mind you is a very heavy mattress and try to put on top of my vehicle to bring back .....

But was so good I kept for myself! The quality is on par with other well known mattress in a box brands. This is a firm supportive mattress.

suprisingly nice

i gave it a month to really test it out. we got the king size and it did take about a week to fully fill in to its max, tho we were able to sleep on it just fine in the mean time. it actually was a little firmer than i expected, and i got a pillow topper to help on top, which is perfectly fine. id rather have a little firmer than not firm enough. now it is perfect and i sleep so much better. husband does too. wasnt sure about foam mattress for our bed, but turned out way better than expected.

DO NOT BUY - YOU WILL REGRET IT!

This mattress seemed like a bargain. It had a decent number of positive reviews. Zinus must have paid people to write them.

I received the Queen mattress as part of the Ambassador Programme, so have been using it for just over a month. The package arrived in a neat compact cardboard box. It is quite heavy however hubby managed to wrangle it on his own.

I was beyond excited to get this new twin mattress for my six year old because his old mattress was just done for. The Slumber 1 by Zinus is 12” high with comfort support (pillow top). It is COMPLETELY comfortable: the foundation has individually wrapped steel coil springs that assist in spinal alignment. Although it is only a twin and will be used for him only, it prevents motion transfer. Sometimes he’ll beg me to lay with him for a few minutes at bed time and I’d have to pull a whole bunch of ninja moves not to wake him up when I got up. I don’t have to worry about that anymore now! It comes air sealed and is wrapped up in a spiral. Be careful to read the instructions! FYI – DON’T use scissors when opening and make sure the little ones (pets too) are nowhere near it when opening. As I pulled it out of the box, the plastic snagged something and I could hear air coming out and it can unravel quickly. Open it as soon as you receive it as it needs to be unraveled 24-48 hours before use. This is not some cheapo mattress. When I lay on it, my body sits over it evenly; I don’t sink six inches down into it (unlike his old mattress). I even made my son wait an extra night because I wanted to get a mattress protector because I plan on keeping this for a very, very long time. As someone who sleeps on my back, this mattress is so comfortable that I don’t want to get it off of it. I’m honestly thinking about getting this in a bigger size for my master bedroom so I can actually enjoy it for myself every night.

[Rewarded Review] Very comfortable with lots of support

When we got this package, it was pretty small, I didn't have high expectations. The package dimensions were 41"L x 16.5"D x 17"H. Considering the dimensions of the box, I thought, it was just going to be a flimsy mattress. Inside the box, there were some fun and detailed instructions on how to open the package. Once we rolled the mattress out of the box and cut the plastic wrapper around it, there was this whooshing sound as the mattress started decompressing. The kids really enjoyed that. Pretty soon it was pretty much upto it's normal size. The instructions say to give it 24 to 48 hours to completely decompress. The mattress is surprisingly very comfortable. It is something you could call a complete mattress. Typically when we buy mattresses, we buy a box spring and than a mattress on top. The boxspring that we buy is usually so heavy that we need people to help us move it around. This mattress is a combination of springs and a very comfortable euro mattress. And since we opened the mattress downstairs, my husband and me had to carry it upstairs, which I have to admit was not so difficult. It was not bulky like the boxspring and it still seems to offer all the comfort and support a mattress needs. After 24 hours, the dimension of the mattress is around 72”L x 40”D x 11.5”H. Eventhough they say 12" it's not exactly 12" but pretty close.
