Excellent high quality duvet insert

Very well made duvet of high quality materials. It is pretty warm as others have said, probably meant for a Canadian summer! There is a slight crinkling noise maybe due to the feather-proof cotton covering? Not that much of an issue to overcome all the other good qualities of this duvet.

Thick and warmc

This is a very nice down comforter. It is lightweight for summer, which I like because I generally prefer a down comforter, but not too heavy. As I sleep with the temp set at 68 degrees at night I can use this throughout the year.

After approximately 2-3 months, the down ends up shifting through the pockets to one side of the comforter. You would think that the squarely sewn pockets would be sewn all around to avoid down from shifting between pockets. Well that’s not the case. When they manufacturer them, for some reason, they always leave about half of one side unsewn between pockets. So the down, through gravity and repeated sleep patterns, ends up moving between some pockets (cells) and accumulates in others. This terribly frustrating. We have bought 3 of them, and it’s the same with all 3. We actually threw one out and replaced it before we understood why this was happening and realized that it’s a manufacturing process from this Canadian Down and Feather company. I am a proud Canadian but I am very disappointed in their products. Totally ridiculous.

BEST GOOSE DOWN I'VE EVER PURCHASED!!

OMG I'm in LOVE with this goosedown! I took my time and read through all the reviews. I needed to make sure I didn't end up with a bad one as I had so many times in the past. It is the perfect weight, it has no pokeys (plumes of feathers sticking you in your crawl), so soft and cuddly! I don't want to get out of bed - bittersweet. But I am so, so, so thrilled this purchase payed off!

Awesome goose down duvet

I've purchased 3 of these - 2 in XL queen and one king sized. These are very high quality and ultra light. They keep you warm without being super heavy. They need to be fluffed before use but otherwise I was very pleased.

Light as a cloud

This is a very fine product. After taking out of its shipping suitcase, it fluffed up nicely. It's very light and luxurious. I have never purchased a down duvet before and only have experience using them in hotels. This one stacks up well. I chose this particular brand because I wanted a North American supplier which makes its own products instead of just putting its brand name on a product made by another company. Also, I like a company that stands by its products with long warranty periods.

I had this item in my cart for many months and was unsure about purchasing it. I was worried because other reviews talked about the crinkling sound and some down comforters can be too crinkly (and sometimes that makes me feel like they're on the cheaper side). This comforter does have a slight crinkle to it, but it's just the perfect amount. The weight it perfect and the quality is top notch. Very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic but JUST fits a KING

LOVED the weight of the comforter and it was super comfy. Our biggest problem was it only came just to the edge of our king sized bed. Once 2 people were under it we often played tug of war back and forth. Ultimately that was the reason we purchased another comforter for our bed and no longer use this one. Really wish the size allowed for over hang. But sadly it did not.

This is the fourth down comforter I have purchased from Overstock. I love this comforter because it is over sized and fits perfectly on our king size bed. The all season weight means I can use it on my bed all year round. Anyone ordering this comforter would be very pleased with the weight and quality.

much warmer than expected, super comfy though

I am giving this four stars because it is emphatically NOT "summer weight." Even with the airc conditioning maxed out, it's way too warm for me; that said, I "sleep hot," and my partner seems to love it. The weight is perfect and feels like it's snuggling you, materials are quality.

The best down comforter I have purchased

Living in a climate with cold winters, this is an excellent down comforter. Lhe lift is great, very warm but works fine in fall weather. Would recommend buying a duvet to cover it to make laundering easier. It was a bit more expensive than some others but really worth it.

Exceeds expectations!

This is by far the best down comforter I have ever owned. As soon as I took it out of the packaging I gave it a good shake to fluff it up. Perfect! It's extra large so that my husband and I will not fight over covers during the night. This comforter is super soft and the right weight for us to use year round.

Great duvet!!

Outstanding quality and construction. Summer weight is the perfect warmth level for all seasons in the Northeast. Unless you run super cold, this fits the bill. I actually still find it pretty warm but I am a hot sleeper. Fits a king duvet cover perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

Comfort and Silence

After reading some reviews, I was a bit worried about the comforter being noisy. Turns out no crinkling sounds. Silence. Very comfortable. I realize that everyone sleeps differently and some are for more sensitive to sounds, light, etc. That said, I would buy this comforter again.

Exactly as described. Did a lot of searching to find an oversized Queen. This is perfect. Very good quality duvet insert. Even has the duvet loops in the corners. No odors. Cuddly and soft. Very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect comforter for very affordable price.

Love this down comforter. It is nice and lightweight and keeps us plenty warm, even as a summer weight down. We added a heavier duvet to this which weighs it down a bit more for winter months. Same comforter was double the price on other shopping sites. Definitely recommend purchasing with Overstock because of this.

Perfect Weight!

I purchased for a queen-size bed so that the comforter would hang well over the side - no tug of war over the covers! The weight is perfect - enough weight to feel cozy, but not heavy. The corner tabs are a convenient feature for attaching the duvet cover. Very nice fabric and well constructed. Top notch product!

Fluffy comforter

It's pretty fluffy, which I was pleasantly surprised to find. I bought a cal-king for my king-sized duvet, which may have helped fill it out even more. It has little elastic loops in the corners for the duvet ties. My only complaints are that it feels warmer than "summer weight" (I started sweating), and it makes a crinkly plastic sound when you move.

Fits just right very nice down but little crunchy

I gave this 4 stars because I absolutely love that it's 100x110 so it fits my king size bed just perfectly hangs the right amount on all 3 sides. BUT my husband and I didn't like that its really crunchy!! Hopefully it crunches less and less every day, also I always buy the best of duvets really soft ones and the last down comforter I had really like to throw little tiny mynute feathers and u can't really get hem off the duvet but this comforter does not do that!!!

I would give this a 5 Star, except the fabric is noisy. Its not loud, and you get used to it, but you can hear it. OTHERWISE, I really like this comforter! It's replacing a 25 year old down channel cover that's been washed in the past, and really sucks.. I really like that the down is sewn into pockets, which keep it in place. I anticipate this lasting at least 20 to 25 years WITH a duvet cover, AND not washing it. I LOVE down! Its warm, light, and I sweat very little under it! I have tried all the materials, and down is the BEST! Just respect the down. Wash the duvet cover, NOT the down. Don't sit on the comforter if you can when you get dressed (lift it up and sit on the sheets). The squares will keep down in place to ensure even heat reflection.
