Like Cloud 9

It was very easy to get the mattress topper out of the package and on the bed. We waited a few hours for it to fully fluff up. After, we cleaned our sheets, replaced with new and got the bed ready to put the topper on. It did make our bed about 3 inches higher, but it didn't bother us. I actually like the extra height. Once we put it on top of our mattress and covered on the sheets we hopped into bed. It felt like a supportive cloud. Immediately we were in love with our bed all over again. We both like firm mattresses, but not something that's hard as a rock. This gives you the support you need while conforming to your body. I had to change my pillows to make sure I was laying the right way, but once I did I slept amazing. I don't think I've slept this deeply in a while. It feels just like a Tempur-Pedic mattress. I visited a store shortly after to purchase a pillow and the combo has me sleeping like a baby every night! Best decision we ever made!! The customer service team at Tempur-Pedic is also the best there is- quick responses, friendly and helpful.

Misrepresented and not worth the money

The cloud topper is not as described and is way over priced for what it is. What you receive is a basic piece of foam that you "cover" with something that looks like a light weight mattress protector. The cloud topper is not enclosed in a cover like the adapt. They have worded the description carefully, but the pictures on the website measuring the height of the 2 different toppers with covers is misleading at best. Within a month I noticed that the topper created a slope toward the edge of the bed. I am disappointed with this product for the price. This product is 3-4 times the cost of what it is actually worth. Don't bother.

Avoid Tempur-pedic

Bought a Tempur pedic topper and in one year, I discovered 4 long tears in the topper which affected our sleep. I contacted the company, sent pictures of the topper, and the tears but they wouldn't replace the topper without me providing a picture of the topper in the it's cover. Returning this topper to it's cover is like putting toothpaste back inside the tube-impossible for me to do. The company wouldn't budge in it's position. I filed a complaint with the Az Attorney General based upon my perception that the conditions imposed by it's warranty for this item makes it to comply with. The AG's office maintains it has contacted Temper-pedic repeatedly and it has refused to respond to them.

Added Comfort

Our king bed is about 6 years old and has started to get pretty uncomfortable. We weren't ready to start doing mattress shopping again. I have been working out of town for a week at a time every month since May and I stay at a friends house who had a TempurPedic topper on the bed I sleep in. I decided to get one for our bed and it's made a big impact to our sleep quality since we got it!

slips and slides

I purchased this twin long topper after purchasing the queen topper. The queen topper was unbearable with the slipping off the mattress. I thought the twin would be different since it at least has straps to keep in place and it did help slightly. I even purchased the suggested glorilla mat to place between the topper and the mattress but it just balls up and is ineffective. It is comfortable as long as you don't move. Otherwise, save your $$$ on this one.

Cal king is too short on the sides

Don't purchase this item if you have a California King. I was trying to replace an old pad from a competitor and thought this would be perfect. Received the pad and, after letting it sit to expand 48 hours, it was 5" short on the sides. I contacted customer service and was told it was a defective cut. They sent a replacement and same issue. Must be bad batch or they're deliberately making them shorter to save costs. Now it's been a month since my initial order and I have requested a refund. Very disappointed.

Definitely true to the hype

My husband has had neck problems for many months. I love to sleep in, but my body begins to ache all over and so I get up and take a pain pill. When I read that these symptoms are noted by many and that they found comfort with the topper. After 10 yrs with our previous topper, we decided these experiences by others were speaking to us and the money back guarantee made it seem like a logical thing to at least try. My husband is a skeptic but felt if it helped me it was worth your consderation. So less than a week later we were sleeping in the comfort of our new bed. I felt the comfort and difference first night. Took Mr skeptical a little longer. But now I hear him say things like "Boy, I haven't slept in like that in years." So I just smile and treat him to a lovely breakfast. Retirement is bliss and a great sleep is like frosting on the cake! Thanks Tempurpedic!

Bodywrap

We were visiting my parents out of state and they generously gave up their room to us for our stay. Upon waking up the next morning, my wife said how well she slept. She stated that she felt her body was wrapped in comfort. She asked my parents what type of mattress was on the bed and they said that it was a Tempur-Adapt Topper by Tempur-Pedic. She insisted we purchase one as soon as we got home. So I ordered one and had it a few days later. Now we sleep in a body wrapping comfort, because it molds to your body shape.

High Quality as always

This topper saved my sleeping experience. I had a Tempurpedic mattress for 20 years, it was tired and worn out. Unfortunately I could not afford a new one, so I bought a Sienna memory foam mattress for a fraction of the price. It is like trying to sleep on a slab of cement !. As luck would have it the tempur topper was on sale. The topper made my slab of cement almost livable. It's no Tempurpedic but I'm not in pain after a nights sleep. If I win the lottery, or sell a kidney I will buy a real Tempur mattress.

Double Shipped said non returnable item so I am stuck and charged for the 2 items opened the one and the stinch of cat urine was so strong turned my stomach was told to let air out in my house for 2 weeks now my house smells like cat urine I went with this company instead of another then find out they do NOT stand behind their product. I always thought this was a reputable company and found out totally different today. I was going to try the topper before buying the bed but this will not be happening now I will be going with the sleep number bed. They stand behind their products and most companies give you 100 days to try their product but not Tempur pedic once shipped its yours not happy customer

Save your money

I bought this topper with high hopes, but my back is now worse than before I started sleeping on this after three weeks. I don't know how this is getting four and five star reviews, must be paid reviews. Watch out! They gonna get you next! This does not alleviate any pressure points which is a huge buzz phrase with these mattress companies. Do your own research but you can pass on this one.

I have never had such great sleep in my life.

I normally do not make reviews for products but for this one, it had to get one. I am currently a college student living in the dorm life and those mattress that are provided by the universitys are something different. With this temper pedic mattress topper delivered straight to my dorm, I have used it every night for about 4 months and it has completely changed my quality of life. I have been getting more and deeper sleep and it was so good I bought one for my girlfriend as well and she has had the same experience. Plus, with the random back pains I would get, I do not anymore!

Sleeping Better Than Ever!

We purchased an expensive mattress about six years ago. it had a warranty, but of course the furniture store we purchased it from has gone out of business. It has been a disaster. I was waking up with a sore lower back every morning. I had to sleep with a pillow between my legs to bring any relief. We ordered this mattress topper and for the first time in several years, I am now pain-free! Much needed relief at a fraction of the cost of a new mattress.

Disappointed, not a "Supreme" replacement

I had a Tempur-pedic Supreme Topper that I loved and needed to get a new one. I recently ordered this thinking it would be the same thing. Big mistake! This is no where near the quality of the Supreme which was discontinued. This one is soft, squishy and really leaves a divet where you rest. Even when we opened the box, we could immediately tell it wasn't the same quality as before. Just doing a "squish" test on the edge revealed how soft it was going to be. You could literally pinch it to the bottom. I've had it less than a week and it creates a sink hole where you lay. When I was laying in the middle I literally had to roll out to edges to get "fresh" support. My mattress is pretty good quality, and only 4 years old so it's not like it's affecting the topper's performance. Now that I'm getting older, I just need some enhanced pressure relief as a side sleeper and the Supreme offered that. If I had done the research online by reading comments from other disappointed Supreme owners, I would have never ordered this one. Now I'm out the money because this company doesn't do trials or accept returns. I've had several Supreme toppers since 2016 for different beds in our house and RV. Guess I will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Wow like a cloud

I spent a decent amount of time researching matters toppers with the hope of transforming my new overly firm mattress - till decideing on this topper. I've been using this for a month and my extremely firm bed is now plush and feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud.

Game Changer for RV Mattress

We were struggling to sleep on our RV mattress after purchasing our new motorhome prior to purchasing this topper. I am a side sleeper and would wake up with hip pain, arm pain and suffer from sleepness nights. I would dread sleeping on trips. I came across the Temper-adapt after doing hours of research. I had previously bought a no name foam topper from an online retailer that was horrible. I decided to find the best topper on the market. Well I did! This topper sleeps like a dream! My spouse is a stomach sleeper and loves it as well. It provides just the right amount of support and softness. This is a definite game changer!!!

The toxic smell gave me a headache and upset stomach if I'm even in the same room. I can't use it and I can't return the item, so my only option is to sell it at a huge loss. I reached out to customer service and reported company to the BBB and got nowhere, so, now I am waiting on my Amex to credit me based on "quality issues". I've already left one review that was censored by removal. I no longer trust this brand and will never buy from them again. There's no difference between a used mattress and a not even used mattress topper, it's sleazy to only take one back and not the other! I'm sure they won't even enter me in the drawing, since they didn't allow my last review to be posted! Shady company!!!

Perfect topper for a firm/hard mattress

I purchased this topper as my mattress is too firm - it causes hip and low back pain. The other reviews that marked down the topper were generally for it being too soft and creating too much warmth. So I purchased it since that's what I needed, something soft! It is like rolling onto a cushy cloud!! Over time it does kind of create a pocket in the center of the bed, but the center is still softer than my mattress was. I haven't noticed the warmth however, it was a winter purchase - so I can't really judge. It stays in place fairly well with the four edge straps that go around the corners of the mattress and I really am glad I bought it.

Our first topper fell apart. The replacement? Disappointing.

Our first Tempurpedic mattress topper, which we really liked, fell apart in about two years. When we took the cover off to wash it, we noticed massive cracks and pieces of it literally were falling off. It had a 10-year warranty, and it was replaced, which was nice. But it's a different topper that isn't as firm or nice as the first one. It's also an odd size. They are shipped all squeezed up and it never expanded to the full king-size to fit our mattress. Just about every day, we move it around on the bed because it is too small. So, first topper defective. Second, disappointing.

Topper quality fades fast

I purchased this mattress topper for additional firm support as I have chronic low back pain. Out of the box this was a very nice mattress topper. It expanded to just the 3" as advertised and felt firm, dense and supportive when first laying on it. My mattress topper had one small 3x4" area that was noticeably dented in / softer than the rest of the topper but since this was closer to the edge of the topper and a small area overall I didn't think it was a big deal. I have been sleeping on this mattress topper for 1 month and I can say that after one month of regular use, the topper no longer feels as firm/dense/supportive as it initially did. When you press down anywhere on the topper you can immediately / easily compress the topper. Considering you are paying a higher premium compared to other mattress toppers and getting the tempur pedic brand, I did expect a higher longer lasting quality product. The product has softened up to the point where you can easily pinch the topper between your thumb and index finger to completely flatten it. Considering that I've only had this for a little over a month makes it a disappointing buy overall. I rate it 2.5 stars. I plan on reaching out to customer support to see if they have any suggestions to rectify this as there is a 10 yr limited warranty on the product. I will update this review to reflect what comes of it !
