So far it is good. We purchased this pan to replace our similar Rachael Ray pan that was part of the stacking set. The red on our original pan has chipped hugely and peeled. We bought these pans & thought they were dish washer friendly but maybe not. Also be careful as RR orders automatically enroll you in an online system that saves your data.

Nice but beware

Beautiful skillet, however, be careful not to cook/fry anything on too high heat. This is my second skillet and I do like it because of shape, weight and cooking but I am more careful when cooking and pay close attention to food.

Bought this to cook larger volumes than a 2” deep pan or 3QT oven dish, and to bake at shallower depths than a dutch oven. Perfect addition to a standard set of cookware/bakeware. Skillet cornbread pictured!

So far so good

This is a big pan! Love the depth. Takes up a lot of room in the dishwasher. Like the two handles for balancing a full pan. A couple scratches after only a few uses, and I always use rubber utensils. Hope that doesn't become a problem.

HORRIBLE

I've had this pan for 3 months now. Horrible! the silver turned a copper color. non stick you say? nope after several washes its vanished. i prey not into my food. The exterior blue stains. it was great for a month and then all this. People please don't waste your hard earned $$$ on these. Darn! Rachel Ray isn't even a real chief. i'm done with her stuff.

This fry pan is the exact size I was looking for. I bought it in the gray which looks very nice with the silver interior. I have used it a couple times, once with spaghetti sauce and it cleaned up easily. I only wish it had come with a cover but I can make one of my current glass covers work with it. As always, shipping is quick and professional. I would definitely purchase from this company again!

Try a different brand

This item is no longer a non stick item. I've only had this skillet for 4 1/2 months & it's already stained beyond cleaning. I contacted Macy's and because it's outside of there time frame I was told it's nothing they can do. I've actually purchased several sizes of this skillet thinking initially I was doing something wrong, not the case. This product just doesn't hold up after a few months. I'd try a different brand.

[Rewarded Review] Nice, heavy skillet

This skillet is BIG and perfect for those large family meals. This skillet heats evenly, with a nice sturdy handle. I can tell this pan was made well with quality materials. I'm able to cook everything in this with no sticking! even stubborn cheese slides right out without issue. This skillet cleans up well also. I definitely recommend this skillet.

[Rewarded Review] Wonderful Skillet

I really really enjoying cooking with the Rachael Ray Create Delicious Nonstick Deep Skillet (12.5-Inch). It really is non-stick. You do not need oil or butter to coat the skillet before using it to make eggs for example. The sides are deep that you can fry foods easily and nothing will spill over the edges. I have been using this skillet for a couple of weeks, and it still looks brand new. I always make sure to hand wash it, and only use soft plastic or rubber cookwear and nothing abrasive. The grey shimmer on the pan is really nice as well. I definitely recommend purchasing this skillet.

Honestly, I am so happy with this choice in a skillet. First, it's a great, neutral soft grey color that goes well in my kitchen. Not too heavy or bulky for a 12.5 inch skillet, just the right size for our uses. Dispenses heat evenly, very important to me. Well made with a terrific nonstick surface harder than titanium. And much less splatter due to deep sides!!!! Oven safe, silicon handles! Clean up has been a breeze. What's not to love! Get this pan, you won't regret it!

I've used this skillet several times now and I absolutely love it. This skillet is true Non stick and it is versatile and big enough for large meals. This skillet washes easily and can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect for many dishes

Love this skillet and use it on a daily basis. It is 12.5 in which is perfect. It's not to big but it's also deep so opens up alot more options for cooking in one pan. It's made of enameled aluminum and is pretty heavy duty. It has 2 rubber handles which are nice so you can move it around easier not kill your wrist trying to lift it. It is non stick and so far works great but I've only had it a few weeks so not sure how long it will last in the long run. This pan is dishwasher safe and oven safe which is a bonus. So far this is definitely a skillet to have in the cupboard and depending on how long this one lasts I may invest in other Rachel ray pans

The Deep Skillet is such a really nice pot. The quality is really amazing and love how well the food cooks in this pot. The Deep Skillet is really sturdy and it has some weight on it as well. My family loves using this pot to cook different meals in it and it comes out really well and the food doesn't stick to the pot at all. Nonetheless, this is such a really nice pot to use to cook big and small meals in. Overall, i most definitely would recommend to anyone whose looking for a great Deep Skillet pot. I so love it and using it for different meals small and large. Such a great pot.

[Rewarded Review] Not true to size

This is a good pan, but certainly the size on the description/package is wrong. The top outer rim of the pan (along with the lip) measures about 9.25" in diameter (not 9.5" as advertised!). And since the lip is so wide, the top inner rim (cooking surface) measures 8.5 inches only (see attached pictures). The base of the cooking area (the part that touches the burner) is 7 inches. So no matter how you measure this pan, it doesn't measure up to 9.5 inches. Buyers, please beware!

So disappointed!

I absolutely adore Rachael Ray products. Had previously purchased 2 sets of cookware along with a myriad of kitchen accessories. Was looking for a larger skillet and this one looked perfect. Was so excited when it came. Disappointed to find it had a bend on the one side. Kohls graciously sent me out another gray skillet. Again very excited until I opened the box and saw the very same bend as the last. I ordered the gray one and am thinking somebody in quality control missed the mark when these were made.

great price but received both pans with minor damage, one more than the other. The one with little more damage, I would not have purchased in a store had I seen the damage. I am hoping both pan do not have the tephlon coating damage sooner than normal due to the scratches and small dings. I did contact customer service so they know I don't think they were mailed with proper packing strategies. so might not be ordering again for fear of receiving damaged goods. Pans are very nice they were just basically loose in a VERY large box with some bubble wrap. I'm sure they bounced around in that VERY large box.

My wife had never had a Rachael Ray skillet. She saw this color and the large size and just had to have it. The very day it arrived she unpacked it, washed it and we had a big pan of fried chicken. She loves how deep the skillet is and the large size. Clean up was so easy too! Even the crumbs didn't stick to the bottom of it. It wiped out almost good enough to put back on the shelf. Now she has not put it in the oven as of yet so I can't attest to that yet. She definitely is extremely happy with the purchase! I have a feeling she's going to want an entire set now!

[Rewarded Review] My new favorite skillet

I must say that this is one of the best skillets I've ever used! I love the pretty shimmering effect. I like the silicone covered handles which dont get hot. The extra smaller handle makes it easy to carry when full and reduces stress on my wrist.. Its not nearly as heavy as an average cast iron skillet. The aluminum non-stick surface is truly non-stick and easy to wash. When I made scrambled eggs it cooked them faster and better than any other pans Ive tried before. The pan itself is oven safe up to 400 degrees in the oven. Clean up requires absolutely no scrubbing and would in fact harm the pan if you did scrub it. All you need to do to clean it is take a little bit of dish soap on a soft rag and wipe it down and rinse and you will have a perfectly clean pan. I would highly recommend this skillet.

Received this Rachel Ray pan and I love it! The shimmer gray on this pan is eye catching! When you pick it up it just shines and sparkles like any girl would love! The size is perfect! 12.5 inches and a little deeper than most frying pans allows me to make bigger skillet meals, or more of an item because it is so roomy!! You cant go wrong with this pan. Its non-stick surface makes cooking and cleanup so much easier! Great pan!
