I received this table earlier then expected. No damage even though the box was damaged. One screw on the bottom would no engage into the pre drilled threads but the table was still very sturdy without this one missing screw. Over all I was very satisfied with table. The middle leaf fit perfectly.

Nice looking table but some dings.

Shipping box was smashed in the corners and taped all over the corners. One of the legs had a gouge on the top edge that I'll try to fix with wood putty and stain. The leaf has what appears to be a repair on one of the corners of the veneer. Too much of a hassle to try and get a box and exchange the leaf. Quality control must not have very rigid standards.

Very nice after I got it together

It was a little difficult to put together. And one of the holes was not lined up with the other hole on the other side.

Where was the inspector?

The last stage of putting the table together is bolting the table top to the base. when I got to that point I found that there were threads for the bolts only on one side of the table. So we have a 147lbs table with only 2 of the four bolts holding the table top on.

Very happy with this purchase

We saw this table at Ashley and their "best price" for the table and 4 chairs was $999.00. With Walmart, it was a little over $600.00. We could not believe the price difference! When they arrived, the packaging was in really bad shape, but the furniture parts were just fine. My husband did have to assemble everything, but he is very capable of doing that. We really like this set for our kitchen eat-in area. It is very sturdy and we love that it comes with a leaf for extra seating when we need it.

Great Design and Style

I love the design and the versatility of this table. For a counter-height table to have a center base is extremely convenient and comfortable versus most counter-height tables having 4 corner legs. I love this table!

Walmart, get a new shipping company!

This table is sturdy and absolutely perfect for my breakfast nook. However, upon arrival the box was torn so bad it wouldnt stay together. The corners were ripped and taped over and over, layers of tape. The top had one corner smashed in. Walmart sent a replacement table and I was sick to see the replacement arrive in the same terrible shape. Sure enough one corner of the replacement top was smashed in. Walmart issued a refund but now we have to box 2 tables up for pick up. The original boxes were in such bad shape that we cant reuse them. Now we have to go searching (or buying) boxes big enough to pack the tables for returning. What a shame. I LOVED the table.

Very beautiful table, but....

I bought this pub height table along with four of the coordinating chairs because I love the style. I especially like the storage shelf under the table, to display a decorative bowl or vase. Both the table and the chairs were very easy to assemble, once I got all the parts. The chairs arrived with everything ready to put together. The table, however was missing the hardware packet need for assembly. After I called Walmart customer service twice, instead of just sending the hardware packet, they had to order a whole new table, which shipped free by the way. I just took the hardware packet from the new table and re-taped the box, ready for pickup to be shipped back to the store, which was also free. I'm still waiting for them to come pick it up, which means another call to customer service. The color is a little darker than shown, but overall I'm very satisfied with the product. They just need a better quality control department.

Good value

Great (kitchen) space-saving table but still has a decent surface area. The semi distressed finish is just as nice as my more expensive dining table. It was easy to assemble though the safety straps were a pain to remove. Wish the base had storage. Overall not a bad buy even if it isn't heirloom quality.

Really highlights the dining room.

We use the table on a daily basis and will come in handy for future holidays.
