[Rewarded Review] Needs extra glue.

I can't say much about durability yet since I haven't had the product that long, but it seems more or less solid. The amount of glue provided for construction was far from what is needed. I'm a woodworker so I had plenty of other wood glue, so it wasn't a problem for me. Assembly will take a couple of hours, and I did it myself although two is recommended. The door has soft close hinges but not the drawers. Soft close drawers would be a nice feature. They wouldn't be that hard to change if you really wanted. I would have preferred at least three outlets instead of two, but I knew that when I purchased it. The assembly instructions may give some people issues since it is all in pictograms, but I had no issues with it. I also didn't put glue in some of the dowels on one end to permanently join the corner sections for ease of moving later. I would suggest that if you may want to move it at some point.

[Rewarded Review] Terrible customer service and communication

I ordered a desk and a hutch from Office Depot in sept 2024 at the store. 2 weeks later I receive the hutch but never received the desk. I check online for my order status and it says it’s on route and figure it’s just delayed. A month later and still no desk. I contacted the store and they were not able to help me. They instead gave me a number to call. I call and no one seems to know what’s going on and I get placed on hold every time I call. I finally get someone who tells me my item was returned because it was damaged and if I’d like to get it sent out again. I of course say yes and they want to charge me for the desk again. I have not received a credit why would I pay for the desk again. This has been such a terrible experience especially because I did not receive any communication as to where and why my desk was returned.

Excellent desk. It has enough space to accommodate our things, regardless of our profession, and you can also place a double monitor to increase productivity. I definitely recommend it.

Not bad for price and modern

Nice modern feel and light sand color. Match my office nicely. Assembly took 2 people 4 hours total. I expect it to be horrible but not too bad. One leg crack since we used a power drill. The other legs are fine when screwed by hand. For the sale price, pretty satisfied. Satisfied with amount of storage.

[Rewarded Review] Mostly an assembly review

I just finished putting the L-shaped desk together. Packaging was excellent and the parts for each step are bagged separately making it easy. I appreciate the bag of spare parts. Instructions state not to use power tools, but screws were almost impossible because they are short of the screw length and some were not straight. My arm is sore from wrestling with all the screws. I ended up breaking off one dowel because it did not align properly. The drawers are hard to open and close, not smooth. My tower PC barely fits in the cabinet. The finished product looks okay and will serve it's purpose well. My actual time for assembly was about 10-12 hours mostly due to the screws. I am hoping that with use the drawers will work better. It is worth what I paid.

pieces were falling apart when i took it out of the box, the directions were wrong, small hardware was also missing

Do not buy!

Putting this together took me 5 hours because directions were terrible. It mixed up parts, they give you a dime size of wood glue for the whole thing, missing parts. The items I did get felt so cheap, I thought I would break it just using a screwdriver. Please save yourself the money!

The desk is nice and seems to fit the bill but when putting it together, one of the drawer pulls was miss drilled and the screw would not screw properly into the hole. When I called customer service, I was told the desk was new and parts are back ordered 15 weeks. I was grateful that at least it was a defective part I could put up with for the next 3+ months. There are a million parts to put this desk together (fairly straightforward though) so I can't imagine being halfway through and having a major part missing or defective.

I bought this desk expecting it to take a few hours to assemble, it took about 4 hours. Near the end I discovered one of the drawers came with 2 of the same side. I called the 800 number on the box for parts, they didnt have the part in stock and told me to return the whole desk.
