I have five of these on shelves under a skylight to hold plants that I eventually expect will trail. They look excellent there, and create a uniform look where there would have been a visual jumble of pots. I spent a long time looking for something that would fit my 36" long and 54" long shelves, so the 18" length worked and these are much more affordable than solid copper while looking just as attractive. (I would have bought an 18x6 size if that had been available, but I'm happy that at least one dimension worked so perfectly.)

I plan to get some small pots for some succulents I am propagating and put them in this planter/tray, The quality of the finish and construction are much better on the round copper trays but it will suffice. That is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Cute Tray

I have not used yet as it did not work for my air plants as I had planned. But I can see plenty of opportunities to use including planting succulents and using as a table center piece with decor such as rocks. Currently using as a tray on my desk, which is serving me well because it is very attractive and well made.

great for windowsill seedlings

I use these in my south facing windows to start seedlings in. I use 6 cow pots in them - so it makes something not so attractive, attractive. It is also water proof, so no issues damaging my wood sills.

Functional and attractive

I use these trays on my window sill to catch the water draining from my African violets. This also raises the humidity for plants growing in our heated homes. I also use it as a centerpiece on my dining room table where it again functions as a water catch and humidifier for those plants. It is very attractive.

Internal measurements not 18"x4"

Product is beautiful, however, the measurements cited are from outside lip to outside lip on the curved rim. Once you account for the lip and the gauge of the copper, the interior measurements are closer to 17.5" x3.5". So, my pots do not fit. Product also came with a slight warp, so didn't sit flat - I was able to torque it back enough where I can live with it. Because I do not want to deal with the hassle of returning, I am going to keep it and use for a different purpose. If you do not need exact measurements, the tray really is stunning.

Excellent window sill plant tray

I use this tray to catch water from small potted plants on my window sill. It protects the sill and provides humidity for house plants. I also use one as a center piece, again using it to provide humidity for my plants in my heated home.

I use this as an insert in a rectangular center piece I have that is not water proof and it works great. It is beautiful on it's own too.

Perfect Copper Tray!

I needed a tray for a window sill that I use for water cuttings. This tray holds my jars perfectly, protects the paint and looks stylish! Love it!

Useful for terraneum sized plants or for a decorative container. There is warning about copper staining when used with water.

Just what I was looking for

I have been looking for a wooden tray this size to fill with glass beads and candles for a centerpiece. I have been unable to find what I was looking for. When I received an email showing this tray on sale, I decided to try it. It is perfect on my dining room and copper goes with other copper accents in my great room.

Pretty on my kitchen counter

I bought this to use with small plants in a kitchen window. My measurements were off and the plants didn't fit, but the tray was so pretty I needed to find another use for it and I did! It now contains the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and kitchen utensil receptacle that were always on the counter. Now they are all contained and look quite stylish in copper!
