High Quality but Difficult To Put Together

The instructions are not great at explaining how to put the unit together and the steering system is hard to get everything to align with out a light persuasion. Once put together it is nice and will hopefully last for a few summers.

For the price this product is cheaply made, has terrible assembly instructions, the sticker were already on it and crooked and the one screw went all the way thru the hole. Would NOT recommend this product.

It's the best gift for a boy

It's very well constructed, the bearings make it easy to pedal, the seat and frame are sturdy, the steering is responsive and easy to maneuver. My son loves this toy so much, the top speed he can reach is 5 MPH, it's fairly safe, and it's sturdy, and he never falls over while playing.

The device itself seemed sturdy for a child but it was too short from seat to pedal for even a 4 year old. The seat was fixed and if it could slide back, may have worked … Snd / or placing the pedals a little farther down .

Be ready to assemble and make adjustments.

The quality seems good except for one thing. The chain provided was too long. B/c of this, it would not stay on the sprockets. Thiscwas very dissapointing to my grandson. But, after removing 2-3 links, everything fell into place. Luckily, I'm accustomed to doing adjustments to bicycle chains. But that would be a source of great disappointment for most.

Fun times

Bought it for my nephew for Christmas. He’s 3 and it was a tad long for his short legs but he has figured out how to compensate and loves it. Very easy to assemble. As for sturdiness, time will tell. But for now, let the fun times roll.

Crooked sprocket causes chain to come off

I read all of the reviews before purchasing that talked about the chain coming off. I assumed it was because there was slack in the chain and didn't mind adding a tensioner if needed. However, after 2 minutes of riding it, the chain popped off and I took it apart to discover that it wasn't a slack issue. The sprocket on the pedals was welded on crooked. To fix it, I'll have to break the welds, put it on straight, and re-weld it.

This is great. The perfect riding toy for kids

I brought this because my kids had electric cars but that died 30-60 minutes after riding. These bad boys here had my kids at the park playing for hours. My son love this. Others kids took a liking to too. Very easy to control. It’s only been a week of having it but so far everything is good

OK car.......but........

Did not come assembled correctly. Had to center pedal assembly and remount the chain unloader handle correctly to keep it from rubbing the chain and kicking it off the sprocket. Also had to tighten the chain, was too loose to use it as delivered. Other than that, seems to work fine now, will see what happens when my granddaughter takes it over to test the durability of it.

Not as advertised

The description of this product says rubber tires. Not so hard plastic. Also one of the bold came without a head on it. Thankfully we had one so it was ready for Christmas.

Not what I expected at all

The steering wheel and seat is pretty cheap very easy to break from a dads viewpoint. The pedals are very small as in actually pedaling power cannot get any speed really has to be pushed basically or on a hill it just doesn't allow my 6 year old to really go and hes not a weak legged kid lol . Just a great picture and idea and could be redone with these things in mind . The thought of it is excellent ! Also the steering wheel doesn't not allow to turn really at all almost a straight shot racer maybe ? Not really a get on And go freely ride. He has to get up and turn the kart on sidewalk to go straight.

Poor quality, buyer beware!

Cheap materials and a little hard to put together, but once completed, 7 year old loved riding it. After maybe 2 hours riding it over 2 days, pedals stopped working. Took apart and found chain had fallen off and could not be stabilized. Purchased 2, but never put the 2nd one together. Returning both for refund. Extremely disappointing for the price.

Horrible to put together-CHEAP!! Do Not Purchase

Horrible design and horrible instructions to put together. Broke the first time my son rode this thing and still cant reach the 3rd party for help. Very cheap material and impossible to keep the chain on and petals to brake or even move. My son is 7 and barely weighs 40 lbs and this thing wont even last him another month. He just drives with out petalling because walmart will not accept a return!

Good. Maybe great with right size rider.

Works as advertised, but best for smaller riders. The taller riders have a hard time because the steering wheel is close to knees, you have to ride with knees outside the wheel so its awkward to hold and turn the wheel with your knees in the way. It's possible, but then it affects how fast they can pedal. I have a 5 1/2 and just turned 7-yr old. Too small for them both. Seat adjustment is not much difference, which I did I use the rear install option. Operation would be 5 stars, false advertising for age range would be 0 stars.
