best ever Hummer

this by far was THE Best humming bird feeder I ever bought ,only sad thing in yesterdays storm the bowl got busted as it got knocked down,however it was THE BEST ,no ANTS on it that i seen in the short month i had it

Lovely to Look at BUT

This is not bird friendly! Top opening is a great idea, but the flower ports are too far off the bottom of the feeder for hummingbird tongues to reach. A Hummingbird’s tongue is about as long as their beak; 1.5-1.6 inches. The flower ports are about 2 inches from the bottom of the glass feeder. If you fill the feeder with the suggested 2 cups or wate Hummers won’t be able to get to the nectar more than about 2/3 of the way down. Plus, when you put on the top cap and try to seal it shut nectar squishes out of the flower ports. I’m an avid Hummer feeder and watcher. So disappointed. Chewy was kind enough to give me a refund and suggested donating them. They are not even worth donating. I’m going to recycle the glass base and scrap the metal holder and chain.

Feeding Ports Do Not Reach Liquid

I was excited to find a hummingbird feeder that can be washed in the dishwasher. However, upon using this item, I have realized that the feeding port flowers that the hummingbirds drink from do not reach far enough down into the feeder. If I make a single batch of 1 cup water to 1/4 cup sugar, they do not reach the liquid at all. I have to make a double batch and fill the feeder so high that when I reinsert the glass feeder into the metal basket, any tilt of the feeder spills sugar water out all over me. It seems like a poor design.

Great Hummingbird Feeder!

The Nature's Way Red Modern Top Fill Hummingbird Feeder is a very nice feeder, constructed of lovely durable glass as opposed to plastic as many hummingbird feeders are. I like that it’s top fill which is much simpler and much less messy than traditional bottom fill & flip feeders. I wish it had a bit more capacity. We have so many hummers around our house, I can’t keep it full!

Beautiful

This hummingbird feeder is absolutely beautiful! I have several of them, and this seems to be the best made out of all of them. It’s very sturdy and it does not leak. I have lots of little visitors and they immediately went to this feeder. I’m going to buy another one just like it to give my mom for Mother’s Day.

Very attractive to people and birds

I like this hummingbird feeder very much. As you can see in my picture before it's hung there are little flowers that fit in the holes for them to drink from. It is a nice red color but you can still see through it to tell the liquid level. It's light weight and comes with everything you need to hang it.
