I purchased this rug in light grey/black, 6’7” square to use between 2 full size sofas in a basement game room where 1) I wanted a more transitional/classic look, and 2) needed the performance of an outdoor rug. This is thinner than some outdoor rugs, but that works fine for my purposes. The pattern looks more machine made than the photos, but again not an issue for me and truly it is nicer than what one should expect for the price. Like many rugs, this came folded up and needed some help to lay flat along the edges. That was easy enough! HUGE surprise: this did not have any of the new rug smell many of us object to. BONUS: the colors match perfectly with other Safavieh Beach House rugs. I’ve paired this with a different size in the Sybilla style to create separate but coordinating spaces in the same room.
