Pretty but prickly

Chairs were really pretty and I liked that it came assembled. As much as I wanted to keep them, the rattan backing was so prickly and not high quality. It would literally poke through our tops. And just running your hands over them would hurt, and felt like small splinters. Sadly they had to go back.

Unfortunately, the cane on the back are not well traced, and have loose ends that itches. One of them came with the black paint peeling off and 3 with the cane on the back fixed crooked, and not symmetrical horizontally. Despite these discomforts, in terms of design, the chairs are beautiful, a good size for small spaces. I don't recommend it because in daily use the back parts grab clothes which makes it irritating. ☹️

Great color and craftsmanship, the shape of the wood back is beautiful, nice in between classic and modern design perfect for my aesthetic. There are some small imperfections in the caning but it’s very minimal and seems to be part of the artisan appeal. Another review mentioned some roughness of the caning, this seemed to improve with use after having these chairs for over a month the caning has smoothed out. The cushion seats are also very comfortable. Even my husband loves these chairs!

Comfortable and stylish chairs! I really like them. they come preassembled which is awesome. bought 6 but 2 of them did come cracked, hoping for a replacement :)

very happy with the delivery time and the chairs

Ordered 3 sets (total of 6 chairs). They came on time and were completely assembled. I love the low profile and light weight as opposed to the heavy highback chairs I had. The backs do sit up a bit straighter than my previous chairs but the upholstered seats are very nice. The only thing I would caution is although they are comfortable, they may not be comfortable for a larger person.

These are amazing! Totally worth the money. They come assembled and nicely packaged. Quality is great, we’ll see how they hold up but they feel sturdy and well constructed.

Great overall build with minor improvements rqd

Quality (especially the wood frame) is fantastic; however, for one of the screws under the center of the seat, it was screwed too far in that it poked out of the fabric seat. As a result, we had to loosen the crew to minimize the protrusion of the screw into the fabric. Additionally, the cane on the back of the chair is loose on certain places and catches clothing frequently.

Coastal Modern

I love these chairs. The coastal modern style is just what I was looking to achieve within my budget. The cane backing has some rough spots as some other reviews mentioned, but I am still happy with the chairs. I recommend scotch guard for the seats.

Safavieh equals quality!

I was so impressed with the quality of these chairs I ordered another two for my dining area so I can serve dinner for four. The solid construction, the perfect staining of the wood, everything is exactly what you hope you will get and don't always. I am not easy to please at this high level. I'm so pleased to be so pleased with this purchase.

I saw these chairs in a model home and fell in love. After researching online I found these through American Home Furniture at the best price. They were on back order everywhere including American Home with the expected date of late January.

Very prickly back.

These look great but the ratan backing is very prickly and uncomfortable. It snags sweaters. The seat is also very firm.
