Excellent ironing board for the Home Sewist

This is an excellent tool for the home sewist; I originally bought the 2 in 1 ironing board, but didn't like it, since there was a ridge where the square piece meets the board. This 1 continuous piece square board is much better, lighter, easier to handle.

I really like this ironing board. It’s very sturdy and not tippy and has plenty of space for ironing fabric. The rectangular shape is great!

[Rewarded Review] Great Design But Poor Craftmanship

Love the design, weight limit, and the sturdyness with the no slip feet... But, I ordered 2 of these and had to return them both, very disapointed in the quality for the price... When working on the befective end of the ironing board you have to deal with Whoop D Doo's in the surface! While using the damaged end of the ironing board you have to turn your iron sideways so it will keep contact and pressure on the fabric to remove the wrinkles. :(

Being a quilter, the regular ironing board just wasn't cutting it when I tried to iron yardage. This has been amazing!! Makes the whole process SO much easier. It's super sturdy, and I love the retractable pouch on the side to keep my ironing needs close at hand, but out of the way. I highly recommend!

Great Ironing Board!

Love this ironing board! Can be adjusted to a height that is comfortable for me and it is solid and doesn't shake as you are moving fabric around on it. Also love that it is the same wide width all across the length. It makes it so much easier to press quilts and large pieces. It is heavy... and it is a little hard to put up and take down, but for me, that is minimal compared to the benefits of having a large and very stable work surface!

This was well worth the investment. I am a quilter and never need the rounded tip at the end of a sewing board. I need a bigger space and sturdier board which this solved. Wish I had done this years ago.

Great work surface, portable.

I purchased this board in order to have a large board I could easily move from room to room. I can store it on a hook on the wall behind my door, when not in use. I love it! I do wish I could purchase a second Teflon or reflective board cover, to help preserve the original cover.

[Rewarded Review] Rectangle ironing board - LOVE it!

The rectangle shape of this ironing board is excellent! Don't know why I did not have one earlier. Always working on curtains and blankets. Rarely working on sleeves or anything that the old pointed ironing board helped with. Pretty solid and goes up and down easily.

Reliable longboard

Absolutely love this board. Very sturdy and not wobbly even when ironing large quilt tops or backing fabric.

Best purchase!

I thought long and hard before I bought the board, but no regrets here. It’s the perfect size for big quilts, yet not too big to use for everyday quilting and super sturdy.

Stability and so much room!

Using a small, rickety ironing board for most of my life suddenly got to me and I began researching what's new under the sun. That's when I discovered the Reliable family of products. My new board is half the weight of my old one, raises smoothly to what seems like an infinite number of levels, holds my ironing station on the convenient rack on the end which gives me the full length of the board to press my clothing or sewing projects. I'm so sorry I suffered with my 1970's model when there are such improvements available for the home sewer. I could easily justify the cost of this ironing board in terms of quality, ease of use, improved utility of my ironing board and the fact that it will last longer than this 70- year old seamstress.

Very sturdy. I like mine. Converts to reg board by taking extension off and changing cover if you want. I like the big size and leave it. Worth the money.

I like this board a lot. I like its width, because It is much easier to iron pants and sheets on it.

A quilter’s ironing board

I’m a quilter and don’t do much clothes ironing, but do a lot of quilt top pressing. I love not having the point at the end which provides lots of extra work space.

Disappointment in quality

This ironing board was such a waste of money. The large top is nice, but its not made well especially not for the cost!

Arrived promptly after ordering. This is a stable, solid board, and the extra width makes a big difference in handling flat goods. The cover is great as well. Overall an excellent board that is a pleasure to use.
