Wonderful minimalist stool
I really love this stool. I saw it on liketoknowit and was immediately obsessed. We have an industrial style kitchen table, but I wanted to keep the theme while also not buying everything to exactly match. These stools are a great compliment! I recommend buying the round seat cushion from crate and barrel...fits perfectly.
Shallow Seat Depth
We got these seats for our large kitchen island, and intended to use them more often, but they have a shallow seat depth that makes them uncomfortable to sit in longer than 5-10 minutes. I'm 6 feet tall, and find myself standing in front of them most of the time. They seem sturdy enough for semi-commercial use, especially with a thread locker, but unless the people using it are not tall, I wouldn't recommend for home use.
