Bold with Striking Detail

This is my favorite piece of my favorite china. Although they are not a necessary addition to the 5 piece set, the whimsical boldness of their pattern changes the formal character of the place setting. It is not your granny's china. Young people and males don't feel like they are being subjected to feminine froo-froo when the table is set with this china. When I first examined these generously sized salad plates, I was most impressed by the Minotaur's head, which is an intricate rendition of a labyrinth.

I have been getting a lot of compliments on the pattern from Wedgewood and hope to get more as presents. Food looks great arranged on this pattern and it is one of the greatest sets that I have.

I purchased these to go along with 2 place settings. My daughter has chosen these as her China pattern. The coloring is very bold.The blue very much like sapphires. The gold pattern along the edges is beautiful. They will look great with the place settings.
