Sturdy stylish MCM bench
Very sturdy and matches the dining table we bought as well. Very easy to put together as well! a little longer than I thought it would be but with the leaf on our dining table it will be perfect.
This is surprisingly well made. The bench was easy to assemble and the wood is a very pretty color. The foam padding on the seat is a little too firm but will probably hold up well, even to my two rambunctious kids.

This review is not about the item, it's about the shipping experience. TL;DR it took them 20 days to ship and item in a time that competitor does it in two hours window, hassle free. I ordered this item on July 5th, the ETA on overstock was set to July 9th. In reality item left the shipping facility on July 10th and they made sure the item enjoys its trip from south east to north west of the country. Every city the item arrived at, it stayed couple of days to visit the town. When I contacted overstock on 12th, they said the following: "Let me explain to you how XPO shipping works" and basically what they told me was that ignore the estimates, it will arrive when it arrives. On July 17th I contacted the customer service again, while the item was two states away from the origin point according to XPO website. They said they are sorry and they'll send me a new item from a different inventory since they have 800+ inventories across the country! and the representative assured me that this time item will arrive according to the estimate and it will NOT be the same experience. Little I knew that it was just another templated customer service promise, there was never a new item nor cancellation on the existing item. They were just buying time for XPO to ship the item. 5 days after, I got another email that we are sorry about the "new order" and that we can't fulfill it because XPO has moved the previous item one more town. So it took them about three weeks to receive the item. I had items delivered to me from South east countries in shorter time. This is just ridiculous and unacceptable. Overstock customer service and choice of shipping company is their fault, and we all know about the quality of XPO, just read other users reviews.
