Better in photos

I have no idea why it looks so different in photos. Even my own it looks brown but in real life it has a grey weathered undertone. I was also very disappointed after waiting months for what I thought would be a beautiful "real wood" piece of furniture. It's the typical particle board covered in wood-looking plastic. For all intents and purposes you can't tell the difference when looking at a distance. I just expected solid hardwood for the price. The headboard seems much higher. I'm guessing maybe the ad had high ceilings. The bed height itself is also very deceiving. I do have a thicker mattress but even without a boxspring it is too high for my elderly mother to get up and down comfortably and I honestly expected a lower more modern height. I intend to modify the bed to lower it and then will probably cut the sides so I can use underneath for more storage than just the two drawers. Also the drawer installation is very janky. Its got fold down legs to hold it up. Like really?! Such a shame because this company was great! Very responsive customer service and installation included where the workers took their shoes off.

Awful

Cheaply made. Headboard was busted up when we opened it.

Absolutely the worse experience with getting this bed. Only 1 box arrived initially. After several calls, finally discovered that shipper lost this very large box! Put a second order and only the 1 box arrived again. I cancelled!

Communication is everything

This bed is very nice. Color is perfect. The only issue I had which made me crazy way the logistic company they used called and told me they were coming one day. I waited all day them no one showed or called. After talking to overstock. They called and scheduled for the following week. Very poor communication.
