I would absolutely return these if I hadn’t already trashed the packaging. Size and design as described but all 3 panels have tiny holes that let the sun in! Like they’re old and moths got at it. When I tried to repair the backing came off. Not that expensive, but don’t waste your .

Beautiful valances

Nice well-made valances. Beautiful fabric. The room-darkening effect is nice bc we get the bright morning sun. Highly recommend. Needed 2 for our larger bedroom window, looks nice.

I ordered from Wayfair because I needed 3 more valances & the price was right! Perfect match with the ones bought elsewhere (same manufacturer.) There is a matching twisted rope trim along the bottom that I hadn’t noticed in the photos. They did need pressing where it was creased from being folded. The only negative is that on the right bottom corner of each valance (except on one) the seam curves out a little. The left side is fine on each valance. Not noticeable as there are 4 valances on 1 window & 2 on the other.

Beautiful Burgundy Valance

Beautiful Burgundy Valance! The quality of material is very good. Substantive and not flimsy. Definitely worth the money. It makes for a lovely window treatment. I have them hanging on top of accordion shades.

I love these valances! We just got them & hung them, so they have some wrinkles. Hopefully, the wrinkles will fall out soon! We ordered river blue and some reviews said they were green or gray. I'm glad I ordered them, because they match the blue in our painting perfectly!

Claims to have a 3 inch rod pocket. I have ~2.5 inch (just a little bigger) flat rods, should be fine. Nope. The pocket is 2.5 on the money and I can't get it on. So ... Yeah.

Incorrect Description

Nice curtains, nice burgundy color, but definitely are blackout curtains, not light filtering as the description online states. The package clearly states blackout. I will be returning them because I want light filtering curtains. Please someone update the website description.

Nice but Description is NOT Accurate

The valances are well made. However, I was expecting them to be Light-Filtering, as advertised in the item description, and they are not. The foam backing is thick and completely blocks the light and the packaging even states "Light BLOCKING". I do like that they will help block the cold in the winter, but they make my room dark because they do not filter any light at all. I also wish they were wider because they barely cover my curtain rods - I can't "bunch" them and it impacts the design. It was a good value because they were on sale and I had a 40% off coupon. If I paid full price I would be returning them.

Lovely and casually elegant

We purchased 5 of the Eclipse Canova Light-Filtering valances in gold to finish the redesign of a large bay window in our master bedroom. The fabric is quite nice, with a tone-on-tone design and a nice trim around the bottom of the valance. The color is a lovely medium gold tone, which is true to the website and a perfect match for our needs. Overall the quality of the valances was good. However, one of the them was ripped at the bottom where the trim was sewn on the fabric, so we had to return it. Since we got the last five valances that were in stock at Kohl's, I was not able to replace it there but thankfully was able to find a replacement on a competitor's website. But we realized after we hung these that we needed three more valances anyway to actually make the window look nicer. These are a bit of a bear to iron because of the folds and creases in the fabric. I tried putting a damp towel in the dryer with them; that didn't work. I tried using a damp pressing cloth with my iron on the front of the fabric, but that didn't do the job well either (althouigh I did use it on the back of the fabric because of the thermal backing; worked fairly well there). I finally just carefully ironed the front of the fabric on low heat. With much effort, I was able to smooth out the folds in the fabric enough that the creases virtually don't show once we got the valances hung. By the way, with the thermal backing, there is no light that comes through the fabric (whether it did or didn't was not an issue for us). These valances look so nice with the Channon curtain panels in canvas (purchased also at Kohl's), and we were happy with how they look in our bedroom.

Pretty but didn’t work for me

They were pretty, but the color didn’t work for me. They are heavier than I expected, which made them difficult to iron to get the creases out. It has a pretty decorative cord trim along the bottom, which is hard to tell in the photo. This also made it difficult to iron them. Because of the cord and the heavy material, they didn’t drape as well as I hoped. But overall they are petty and I liked the subtle texture to the fabric

But they are quite short in the width so you need serval to cover a good size window.

The color is not quite what we expected--would call it "champagne" rather than gold. However, not worth the trouble to return as they were for a rental cabin. We would rate these as light filtering rather than blackout. Can't comment on durability. Decent value since we had 7 sets of windows to cover.

Good buy for the money

I bought several of these valances in the color gold. I really wanted a true gold, but these are more beige than they appear in the picture on the website. The quality is good and I liked the cord edge along the bottom. Overall, very happy with the valance. The beige is ok for my bedroom, and I will keep them for awhile until I find a better gold fabric.

I ordered three in the chocolate brown color. These valances are nice and well made. However, there was a quality control issue with one of the valances which will require my going to J C Penney to return the offending valance. The issue was the piping on the bottom was not sewn correctly in one spot causing a noticeable difference between the rest of the valance. The fabric in this one spot overlaps the piping on the valance. Also after hanging the valance on the window I decided that I really need two valances per window. So I have placed an order for 4 more valances.

These are great! I actually used the valances to hide the cat litter box underneath the vanity counter in the bathroom. I bought 2 valances and put them on a tension rod to make one curtain. These valances are affordable and appear durable. They come in many colors. Now I know where to buy more valances if/when I redecorate my bathroom!

RV Curtains

These curtains are just like the big ones. Black out. I bought these for the RV in the back half where we sleep and I had only 24 inches max. I didn't want to make my own so I bought these on faith. They fit perfectly are very flat since I only bought two each to cover 60 inches. They were dark and well made. I would buy the full length for a regular window and add double if not more depending on the look if your thinking of a full set. As for the valance I am only using these as full curtains to a very short window. The color is Dark Grey and what I had expected. Great buy for the price.

Not quite as pictured

I think this item is alright. Well worth the seven bucks and change they're charging for it. I don't think it's well represented on the website, though. I did a site-to-store and when I picked it up, the color seemed strange (river blue) and the fabric reminded me of something out of an old motel.
