my husband put the fan up himself. it came with a 2 ft down rod which was needed for our ceiling height. its very pretty. it doesn't throw out a lot of light, which fine with us.

Not really Tiffany stained glass.
Just hung this today. It looks very nice in our kitchen, very stylish. It is not actually glass more like stained plastic. The fan runs very quietly. The light is not real bright but it is colorful. Remote works well and makes it more convinient for controlling the light and fan as it is centered over a large dining table. Custermer service was good as I didn't have the order number but they sorted it out quickly. We are quite pleased with our new dining room light and with the courteous service we received.
I had no problems installing this by myself!

The Angie person who did this was horrible. 2 1/2 hours.... didn't put the top cap on, wouldn't level it, and couldn't figure out how to put the remote on it. Pretty light, BAD installation.

BEST purchase, has dimmer, stands out from the other Tiffany-style Ceiling fans purchased, this was the best one, quiet fan and beautiful light features! super grand look!
High quality
This is a beautiful ceiling fan. I hung it in an office with dark wood furniture and it blends very well. Very rich looking in colors and quality. I like the ability to turn just the light on instead of the total fan so I can use it for lighting.
