Arrived damaged.

This came damaged along the sides that curve in. It's cracked. It's a beautiful piece of furniture but not worth almost 600.00 to arrive damaged.

A piece of junk

The finish was sprayed on paint. It arrived with a broken leg that alloed us to see material it was made from. Looked like compressed sawdust. It is a piece of junk, for the whopping price of $500.00 with tax.

If this Bombay chest had arrived in good condition, I would have given it 5 stars. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. It has very lovely details and went with my room. It arrived damaged in shipping. Not overstocks fault.

Very nice chest

It was a beautiful piece but, one leg was broken in half.

Top of dresser has small holes which is the natural wood grain. However I sat a drink on top with a coaster and moisture got in one of those tiny holes and puffed up after 1 day of receiving. Not sure if Im mad at dresser or coaster more!

The chest is good quality

The first deliver was severely damaged, I sent it back and they sent another with a different floral design on front. Not a pretty.

Very nice chest.

I have this chest in my bedroom and I do like it a lot. Unfortunately one edge of the top was crushed but there was no damage to the box. I straightened it and painted it so it isn't really that noticeable now. I didn't want to pack it back up and return it because of the possibility of receiving one more damaged. It is somewhat smaller than I had thought it would be but they did give the measurements correctly.

An absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. A few small dings. Had ordered one earlier that was damaged in shipping. Hayneedle was absolutely wonderful in dealing with the problem.

Outstanding value from Wal-Mart

Beautiful, a heavy well made and substantial piece of furniture. Saved hundreds of $$ buying this through Wal-Mart, a Marketplace partner. As noted by another reviewer, the floral design differs from the picture but it is nevertheless quite beautiful. Drawers are on glides and open and close smoothly. Packed expertly and arrived several days early. Wonderful value on this beautiful piece of furniture, particularly when you compare Wal-Mart price to these other Marketplace partners for the very exact item. Acme furniture is built extremely well, I'll be buying again!

I really like this Bombay chest. Not only is it lovely, it's functional. I use it for storage also.

Flower design different

It is a nice chest but unfortunately the photo that is shown, the flower design does not match what I received.
