Worked great. Did not take very much and applied easily. Cleanup was not difficult either. Wallpaper adhered within 30 minutes.

This is the second time I used this wallpaper paste, and it will be my choice in the future. It is very easy to work with and it holds well. It is thick enough that it stays in place while working out bubbles and adjusting the seams.

I love to wallpaper, and my husband and I are in the process of remodeling our 6 room house, and 2 rooms upstairs, and yes wallpaper in each!!!!!! i have used 3 different adhesives, and by far this is the best I've EVER USED!!!! I LIKE THE THICKNESS OF IT, AND IT DOES NOT DRIP OFF THE PAPER!!!! IT ALSO ALLOWS FOR REPOSITION AND IVE NEVER HAD A SHEET TO COME LOOSE!!!! THIS IS MY 2ND GALLON IVE ORDERED, I WILL NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE!!!! A TIP.... DO NOT NOT NOT EVER WET THE PAPER FIRST!!!! JUST APPLY THIS, SOME PEOPLE USE A ROLLER, I JUST USE MY HANDS, AS THAT WAY I KNOW THERE ARE NOT ANY " DRY" SPOTS,. IF YOU WET THE PAPER FIRST, THAT IS WHY SOME PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE PAPER TEARING!!! 😊 HAPPY PAPERING!!

I love this adhesive its so much easier to spread than the liquid. It doesn’t run down the wallpaper or the walls. I apply to the paper and adhere to the wall. . I’ve been using this product for many many years due to I love wallpaper I give it five stars.

I ordered the gallon size & it was here within days of ordering. I had purchased in a paint store a quart of another brand of adhesive & it was almost as much as the gallon tub but it was thin & watery & not very adhesive.

Did not work at all as advertised. Used on quiet rug wallpaper as recommended and it never stuck. Bubbled all over and ended up having to completely redo it. This was even after I put on a second thicker coat.

Pretty good. I have been using this as my go to adhesive. Its been working good so far. I like that it dries clear in case you get some glue on the paper, you wont see it. I wish it was a bit more tacky/stronger bond at first but its good. I tried a few others but didnt like them and one left a white residue once it dried that i didn't like and this one doesn't.

Perfect for Grasscloth Wallpaper!

I recently decided to redecorate my study with grasscloth which recently made a comeback in the decorating world from when I knew it to be popular in the 60s and 70s. The directions called for a clear heavy duty adhesive. After first applying Roman's acrylic primer/sealer to my painted drywall, slightly textured walls, and letting it dry overnight, I started my wallpaper project by applying the Pro-838 with wallpaper pasting brush to back side of the grasscloth, booked the strip for 5 mins, then hung it and it was so easy. Clung to the wall firmly but I was still able to reposition it as needed. So happy with the results and this product did not bleed through nor did I have any problems using it. And there was little to no smell either. Just used warm water to wash my pasting brush after a couple of hours of use. This gallon was not enough to finish my project, covering only about 150 sq feet -- not the 280 sq feet indicated on the label. Unfortunately it is not carried in stores anywhere, so I now have to wait about a week's time for it to be shipped to me before I can finish the job. Other than that, I would highly recommend!
