The chest is a beautiful piece of furniture.
LENOX Rosewood Flatware Chest
Received the chest in good shape. It holds cutlery sets up to 240 pieces. The knobs are small, but the handles on the sides are a nice size. I was expecting the colour of the wood to be a dark solid as in the online picture but this chest is lighter with streaks of orange running through it. Still it is an impressive piece. It should be checked all over, as the middle drawer, I found, was not flush with the lid and lower drawer on one side. I will be returning it, and exchanging for another (now $100 less).
Beautiful and Roomy
I just inherited my aunt’s silverware, complete with all sorts of extras, small and large, and needed an extra drawer without constraints. This one has a 3rd drawer that perfectly fits all the long serving utensils and boxes of little items.
Roomy storage
I wanted this flatware chest because it is really roomy, and I have a lot of pieces of sterling to store in it. It is very roomy, and that is good, but I doubt it is rosewood.
