Decent chairs

These chairs were fairly easy to put together and I've had for about 4 years now. From far away they look more expensive than they really are. They've taken a beating from a young family but good quality to have for just a few years. Will probably need to replace after year 5.

not the worse ive seen

these chairs were very hard to get the screws in. the instructions also had all the short screws going from the seat into the back of the chair. the long screws actually went there with one small screw in the center. the other small screws were to screw the front legs into the chair. look wise, these chairs look very nice. when looking closely, the fabric does look a little cheap and feels pretty thin. So far, these chairs feel pretty sturdy seating wise. overall, assembly was a pain but once i got them together, im satisfied with their looks. i also think they're decent for their price. if they remain sturdy, i may buy more as they would be worth it despite how hard it was to get the screws in.

Yeah, lol, guess I am "semperfussy" but my home is my castle and I like furniture to match. Once assembled seems they are of pretty good quality for the price. Dont use the dining room much, so primarily needed furniture in there. Only used twice, and do find them comfortable.

I purchased 10 chairs (5 pairs) so I got a pretty good sampling. 2 out of the 10 had significant defects and another 3 had minor defects. The seat back roll was crooked on one, there were ink stains on another and the other 3 were wobbly because one of the seat back legs was shorter than the others. I'm returning the ink stained one and the one with messed up back. I was able to level the wobbly chairs with felt pads so Im keeping them. The other 5 chairs were fine and they are very pretty. The fabric is of higher quality than I expected and they seem sturdy enough for occasional use (which is what I needed them for). I would not pay full price for these and I wouldn't purchase them for everyday use but they fit my needs perfectly. The tan color is actually a creamy off white and the legs are definitely whitewashed. They are extremely light. I solved that problem by using Old English dark wood scratch cover. Worked perfectly to darken them just a smidge. I included picture of the original leg on one of the chairs I'm returning. The rest have the Old English applied. Overall I am satisfied given the price (I purchased with a hefty discount). If you want higher end, you will need to pay higher end pricing. I think these are worth what I paid for them so can't complain.

Nice chairs, leg color too white

Good value for price. Easy to assemble. Very comfortable. Sits at a nice height for dining. Fabric color is true to picture. But the legs are NOT like the picture. The legs are almost white. It's the brightest wood in my dining room and looks jarring. Updating this: I'm paying to return them. They leg color just looks really bad/cheap.

The chairs are very poor quality manufactured. The wood used is NOT even finished but rough wood. There are splinters at the base frame, legs. The holes made for the screws on base and the legs are misaligned therefore out of 5 screws at the bottom of chair back area, only 4 can be inserted properly (on some chairs middle or one of the side holes are NOT aligned). The fabric is also not tucked in and stapled properly and coming off. Overall these chairs are absolutely piece of junk and NOT WORTH spending money. I feel sorry bought them (8)

Well designed, attractive, comfy, great hardware

These chairs are a good value for the price. I ordered 6 (2 blue, 4 beige) and they arrived amazingly fast. I was worried because the boxes were a mess: tape missing, cardboard had holes in many places presumably caused my fingers during delivery, tops partially open where there was no tape). But the chairs so far have been fine. PROS: Great fabric, assembly hardware the most substantial/heavy duty and the best I have ever seen (for similar chairs bought elsewhere), love the natural/white washed legs, assembled in 15 min per chair, nice design, comfortable, button tufted seat backs look much better in person than online. CONS: little pieces of the grey foam padding are poking out along the edges of the seat bottom, there is a wrinkle along seat where it meets the seat back (may flatten over time). CURIOSITY: There is a metal "dowel" about 3.5 inches long included in hardware kit, but it is not mentioned anywhere. At first I thought it was a duplicate Allen wrench but I figured out what it was for when I attached the seat bottom to the seat back. Although the holes lined up the lining fabric partially blocked all 5 holes and you could not get the bolts to attach (by hand) because the fabric prevented this. So I used the metal rod to open up the holes and ensure proper alignment before starting to screw in the bolts by hand. Not sure if that was intended purpose of rod but it came in very handy. SUMMARY: Attractive chairs and terrific value.

Not the same quality the second time around

I am so upset right now. I ordered this a couple weeks ago and LOVED these chairs. So I decided to order more. I get the second order of chairs and they are nothing like the first Set. The cushions weren’t as soft, they were flat and hardly any cushion like the first set I received, glue all over it, no dust cover, and just poorly thrown together. Nothing like the first set of chairs that I received. These will probably go back because they are not the quality that I got the first time around and it’s pretty upsetting when you’re paying this much for two chairs. Not sure why these were different than the first set when they came from the same place. I guess they We’re in a hurry when they put these together.

A bit uneven, but still lovely

These chairs are absolutely beautiful! They arrived in a timely manner. One set of mine got lost in shipping, however when I spoke to Ruth in customer service, they sent out a replacement with no issues or delay. They was very easy to assemble. My only issue is that some of they legs was a little off set. So I would recommend that Roundhill put some more time in to make sure all the legs of the chairs are even so they won't wobble . My daughter showed me a little trick to fix that though and they are wonderful! Roundhill the beauty of the chairs is present focus on the craftsmanship of the legs! They are strong, but not equal. I bought 4 chairs and my daughter purchased 2 more for me.... out of 6 chairs 3 was even and 3 off.

Might just be my luck!!

The chairs are true to color and description. Cushion is a little firm but hopefully it will extend the life of the seat. Really looks good at my dining table. The downside is that one of the floor protectors was broken when I opened the box. Additionally two of the threaded inserts on the chair back assembly had upholstery staples in them, which took a while for me to figure out. I thought it was cross threaded. Would love to give it 5 stars but the small stuff add up. Update: I ordered two more chairs only to find out that they are different. Color is slightly different. Chair assembly, size, and design are all different.

What a great chair! We have a big older dining room table that had old clunky chairs.we wanted to modernize the look of the room and lighten it up so these chairs were perfect! Really inexpensive as they were on sale AND i had a coupon!! They arent for everyday usage. I could see them getting wobbly and needing tightening with daily use but for a dining room used once or twice a month its perfect!! I have a bunch of kids and grandkids and was worried about the cream color so the first thing i did when i got them was apray 3 coats of fabric protectant spray. A damp rag cleans almost anything off the chairs having used the fabric protectant spray. The chairs went through major holidays and dozens of events and are still new looking! The pictures i took were taken at night with a flash so the fabric looks kind of shiny for some reason. Maybe the light reflection. The fabric looks more matte, a light sheen at most

These chairs are not only beautiful, but also very sturdy and the absolute best part is they are extremely comfortable! The color is vibrant perfect for my teal & grey dining room. I could not recommend them any higher! They are also pretty easy to put together, about 30-45 minutes per chair. I like them so much I'm going to order another set, just in case we have a larger dinner party. Honestly my son has a bad back and finds it difficult to sit comfortably in any chair for long but he can sit in theses for several hours easily. I also love the choice of colors, so many beautiful colors made it hard to choose. If you need some lovely comfortable dining chairs I would suggest giving these a try! I just can't figure out why they are so inexpensive. My best purchase on a long time. Good luck to you!

Beautiful inexpensive chairs

I struggled between deciding to buy the light gray chairs or the dark ones - the pictures from other reviewers weren't very clear on the color difference. Please note the light gray is more of a cool gray and the darker gray is closer to the average gray color. I ended up buying 4 chairs in the dark gray color. The dark gray pictures provided from the website are actually much darker than what they look like in person, however i loved them. The chairs arrived within a few days of purchase and were very easy to put together. There were no visible defects and i have been using them daily at my dining table. The legs are a light unfinished wood color but are very sturdy so far. The seats are cushioned and comfortable for sitting at a table for long periods of time. They look modern and beautiful without the expensive price tag.
