Make sure you order all at the same time!

Be very careful to buy all that you need at the same time. Since these are "hand painted," as they claim, they are made in batches and if you order at multiple different times, you run the risk of getting from two different batches and they will NOT be the same color. I bought 40 tiles to start to confirm it would look good in my room. It did, so months later I bought like 200 more. This new batch was a totally different color! They could NOT be installed with the previous 40. Since I was now outside my return window, I had to quickly buy another 40 tiles and pray they matched. They sort of did... as you can see in my photo below, I certainly have two distinct colors, but really, you can see there's a gradation across the tiles and one could argue I have 4 distinct colors. Once they are installed, and they all are almost the same color, they look really good. Certainly much better than a regular drop ceiling. 5 stars for the end result, but I'll knock it a star for the inconsistent color.

Perfect for my pool room!

I\'ve bought other ceiling tiles that were paper thin. Udecor tiles are thicker and much easier to install. I had one box that was damaged in shipping but Edde at Udecor replaced it quickly, no charge. Thanks!

Great way to cover ugly ceiling or to give vintage look to period house. We installed about $**** of these and they are great! Pricy, but great! From the floor they really look like real aged tin and have the effect of totally TRANSFORMING a room! Everyone that has seen has LOVED THEM. There are a few minor down sides, though. First, the instructions that come with them SUCK. They are extremely brief and worse than that they are confusing. The adhesives they suggest either were not available at all or simply do NOT WORK (at least on the type of ceiling we were attaching it to). Through much trial and error, we found that industrial hot glue was the best way to attach in our case. (In one room we didn't want to lose more ceiling height by dropping it and using the hanging system, so we had planned on gluing them there and using the hangers in the rest of the house. But, the matching hangers are unavailable so we glued them everywhere.) This brings us to the second problem-accessories that go with them aren't readily available. As I mentioned, the matching hanging grid system isn't available through Overstock. There are supposed to be edge pieces to hide the cut edges of partial tiles and give the ceiling a finished appearance. These are unavailable as well. You can find creative ways to deal with this, but it was a challenge for us because our crown molding didn't butt up against the ceiling, because we left a space for the LED lights that it contains to reflect up on the ceiling. Overall this is a great product and it is very well made. The instructions need to be improved as does access to the add on accessories.

Get the white tiles (pretty) not yellow (ugly)

I ordered the off-white ceiling tiles, not the ugly yellow ones. They are light and easy to install, but I worry that I am not addressing the less-than-ideal condition of my ceiling and hiding it with these lightweight tiles. They feel flimsy (they're thin), but they look okay once you've stuck them up on your ceiling, and they are a great deal more attractive than the ones I'm replacing (higher quality standard acoustic tiles). But they were a crazy-good deal (bought onsale and with a discount code), unlike the tin tiles I would have bought if I'd gone over-budget.

BEWARE

Be careful what you order. I spent $129.35 for two packs. Took one partially out of the carton and decided I didn't like it. Sent it back ( I paid shipping back ), was refunded $64.67. So it cost me almost 50% to see one in person. Ridiculous! BUYER BEWARE!

Classy, Easy and clean

I was surprised what a difference it made to put up these decorative ceiling tiles. It turned our downstairs are into a much cleaner, upscale, and open look. They are generally easy to install. It was a little tough cutting all of the edge tiles but I am thinking it was because I ordered the ones with a lot of decorative edges.

Love the look-not a quick project. PLAN IT OUT.

Look great when installed, but there is an art and a learning curve to installing them. It would also be great if the matching, smaller filler pieces, grid/seam covers and crown molding were available. There are better adhesives than what they recommend, too.

Absolutely love these !! They look fabulous. They didn’t stick to good , so we stapled them up, then put a wood border around them. We didn’t do the whole ceiling , just above our kitchen island as an accent piece. Looks so warm and inviting

PVC tile

We purchased these to install in our bath remodel. Our home is 150+ years old and wanted to have the ceiling tile look in the room. Normally not a fan of PVC replicas but for this application (humid/"wet" areas) I think they are just what is needed. We installed directly to the ceiling so have to decide how to "cover" the seams (that would not be apparent in a false ceiling system) however, overall they do the job and look pretty good! I personally would not use the PVC tiles like this anywhere except a bathroom or congruent with a false ceiling support system.

Better than I expected and excellent quality

Exactly as described and better than expected for the price. I shopped around for these and hands down Overstock had one of the best prices on the package of 10. They are thicker and heavy-duty and not in a bad way. Just a very durable product that I am looking forward to installing.

Beautiful ceiling tiles

Tiles are great but came in 3 shipments! 2 extra times of potentially exposing myself to corona! But the tiles look great on the ceiling and would recommend for anyone looking to do something fun with their ceilings.

Huge difference from old white tile

Only put a few up to see what it will look like. Easy to cut with regular Scissors. Just cut slow as to not break tile. They are thin but what I have put up to look at is a big difference than the old white tile on the drop ceiling. A box arrive broken but overstock was good to work with and replace them quickly.

I ordered these Royal Ceiling Tiles in white. I had these put up in the master bedroom. They look very beautiful and elegant. I would definitely recommend these as an alternative to actual tin ceiling tiles. I think they look just as gorgeous.

We bought these when we finished our basement. They added a more finished and warm feel to the rooms. They make the area feel more like a home than the typical drop ceiling tiles. We plan to get them again to add them to other areas.
