I bought this on Wirecutter's recommendation when my fancy one started failing. I thought I'd miss the flat Microban surface on my old one, but it turns out this is much easier to use with the pedestal. I don't have to worry about a crumb or a piece of shredded cheese being under the scale and messing up the measurements. the clicky buttons are more certain than the old surface that i just touched a certain spot. I don't have to buy special batteries. In fact, I've been using it for several months and haven't yet had to change them. Definitely a keeper.

Coming from using a 40 year old rusty metal scale that could only weigh up to one pound, that i had to crouch down to read after the little pointer stopped bobbing up and down, using this new Escali scale is so easy, doesn't hurt my back, or my eyesight. And yes, it measures so accurately its scary! Do yourself a favor.

This scale does the job! I like that this is lightweight but yet feel strong and durable. The scale seems to be pretty accurate as I compared it to my other one. 11 lb capacity is a big bonus, even though I don't think I will put that much on there. The control panel part is sealed up so I don't have to worry about spilling something on the screen and it messing up or getting stuck in it. Overall a nice scale to have and great quality.

I really like this scale. It's lightweight and small so it doesn't take up a lot of room.It comes with two AA batteries. It's accurate. It can weigh in grams, pounds,ounces at the push of a button . It has a large, easy to read LCD display. It can weigh up to 11 pounds. This is exactly what I wanted.

Excellent product. Weighs in ounces and grams. I love how I can place a bowl on the scale and when I turn it on, the scale automatically zeros out. I just keep adding ingredients to ONE bowl. Wish I bought years ago!

I use whole beans and weigh them before grinding. Coffee taste is much more consistent between pots now!

Just what we wanted and needed. We have had it a couple of weeks and so far it is doing its job well. Easy to use and to read the results. And it looks cool!

Lightweight. Appears to weigh accurately. Little countertop feet/pads peeled off soon after I started using but the measuring is not affected.

Great little scale. Big enough to put a salad plate on and still read the display. Lightweight, very easy to use, basic scale that easily zeros out. Home Depot had the best price of $24.95 at the time of my purchase (Macy's had it for $85 on sale for $35.) Delivery was relatively quick.

Works like it should

I was seeing this scale on different content, and had a look. Not able to get the one i want right now, but this scale works perfect. Plus, it's fast when you tare it out or switch from accurate(metric), to approximate(looking at you Americans).

This scale is accurate, easy to use (tare and weigh items), and easy to clean. I use it several times a day for cooking-for making the best pizza dough. It is light weight and compact design for easy storage.

The scale seems very precise, easy to use. Can add multiple ‘ingredients’ in succession with net weights which is efficient. Scale is not heavy and might seem delicate but have had no issues.

A great item-- It is very easy to use, has good sensitivity, and its low profile, small foot print, and light weight make it easy to store if necessary. Time will tell, but the coating on the scale seems durable and easy to clean. The red color lends warmth to the kitchen. Good value for the price.
