Absolute piece of junk. The quality is extremely poor the metal is very thin. I returned it the same day as delivered. Buy another grill....

Had it a few weeks now. It was well packaged and arrived in good condition. Shipping time was good. Good quality. Cooks great for a small party. The adjustable coals are great. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I am very happy with this purchase. It took a little time to put together but the barbecue pit is very sturdy and looks great! It was very reasonably priced and I recommend to anyone that wants a grill that isn’t overwhelming for your patio space.

Nice grill but it is a bear to assemble! I thought there would be more pieces pre-assembled. There are not. Follow instructions carefully! Several hours to complete. Just a heads up. Worth it in the end,

Ok charcol grill

It's so hard to find a good charcoal grill. So when I seen this I was a little excited. It look just like the online picture. The grill is OK but it is a little flemsy. It was easy to put together my husband didn't take long. All the parts was inside the box.once put together th grill was very wobbly.

I am generally pleased with the grill. However (and I have contacted both Wayfair.ca AND Royal Gourmet) the product details are NOT correct. Please see the attached screenshot of the grill from the Wayfair.ca website. The specifications clearly state that the 'Primary Material' is CAST IRON. That was actually one of the reasons I ordered this grill - because heat retention is good in either cast iron or cast aluminum BBQ 'kettles' or grills. When I received the BBQ and started to assemble it - I realized that there are NO 'cast iron' pieces in the grill, at all - which was very disappointing. Whoever wrote the specs must have somehow 'confused' cast iron with 'sheet steel'...anyway, I'm hoping the unit will operate properly and last for a while - despite being largely made out of thin sheet steel. I hope this misrepresentation is corrected as soon as possible.

My wife and I bought this gift for my daughter, as a birthday gift. Thank so much for a set of directions that I can follow. See, When I do projects like this I look at pictures (schematics),(exploaded view), etc. to follow and I feel if the pictures are clear and specific there’s no need for words you only need words to explain confusing pictures. After putting it together I think it’s a great gift for our daughter! She’s gonna love this gift and cherish it for many years. We are proud to give this product to our daughter. Good Job Everyone!

This grill is flimsy and doesn't even have a solid bottom. The ash tray, which slides in and out on weak rails, is the bottom. I have put together other similar, more sturdy grills in the past and this one took more than twice as long to assemble. I am so disappointed. If I had spent less than $100 for it I might not be as unhappy. But the thin metal walls and grates will burn through quickly and I'm sure I'll be having to replace this within a year. The legs were mismarked with the wrong stickers so the tables could not be attached without completely undoing three hours of work. There is no handle on the side to move it easily. DO NOT BUY.

Putting this grill together was terrible. The instructions are either just plain wrong/miss steps or don't actually show which way you have to install certain parts, which makes it hard to figure out. It's even harder because some of the pieces were missing parts. One part had a missing piece so the screw didn't screw in and we had to find pieces in our garage to make it work. Some of the holes barely lined up. All in all, it was way harder to put together than it needed to be and we would not have been able to, if we didn't have supplies at hand like extra nuts and screws. Put together, the grill is fine, it looks ok, better than I thought after all the problems with putting it together. Also, I realized that a lot of people probably don't read the instructions all the way. After the last page of construction, there is an additional page that tells you how to "prepare the grill for first use". You have to bake the grill first before using it, which might cause the people that don't do this all the issues I read about in the reviews with peeling paint. Ours looks fine after we followed the instructions and the paint hasn't peeled after the first time grilling.

Not only did the grill arrive battered and banged up, putting it together was absolutely horrible! The holes and screws did not line up and it took hours to force things to fit. After hours of putting the grill together, I figured I would keep it since sending it back after working on it for as long as I did wasn't worth it. I called asking for a partial refund and the partial refund is only 15% of the price of the grill. They offered to send us another grill, but I don't want to go through this AGAIN. Clearly, Wayfair doesn't care about it's customers with a refund plan like this one. Very disappointed.

Arrived before ship date. Lot of parts and pieces to put together. I recommend purchasing the install if your not good at putting things together. The up down charcoal tray doesn’t go all the way down with the handle you have to push with your hand. I didn’t fully read the description before purchasing and thought the top grill rack was a full rack. But it’s a bun warmer, however you could actually fit a few smaller burgers and hot dogs on it. Over all I love the grill and can’t wait for some good grilling whether! Great price and great buy!
