Carpet tile review

The carpet tiles were easy to lay down, easy to trim to fit, and looked great after the first vacuuming. They made the cement basement floor softer and more homey. The tiles can be removed easily to clean or replace.

Great way to improve a concrete basement.

These carpet tiles were the perfect solution for my basement workshop area. I had a dingy dark basement in an old house that was usable. I added bright lightening, painted the concrete floor and then finished it with these interlocking carpet tiles under and around my work bench to create a clean and inviting workshop area.

Great for my back door as I have 3 large dogs that track in mud, dirt, leaves and grass clippings. Easy to vacuum. Just make sure that your door will clear to open and close.

I installed the Greatmats Royal Interlocking Carpet Tiles in our basement for a much needed update. We have been in our home for 52 years and still have young grandchildren who needed a space to be in when all together. The interlocking carpet tiles are SO easy and fun to install! They have added padding, warmth and comfort to our old sad looking basement. They are wonderful, just what I hoped they would be and even better! Great Mats!!!

Absolutely love the Royal Interlocking Carpet tiles. The beige is more taupe because it has a slight purple cast. My basement studio floor is now warmer and has a firm cushion underfoot. I can find things that I inevitably drop. The tiles can be vacuumed or swept and look great. This is the second time I have purchased these tiles. We had a flood in our previous basement and just pulled up the tiles, dried them out for a couple of days, then reinstalled them with no problem.

This is a great product. I would give it a 5 star review if I was reviewing the quality and the ease of installation. But I must only give it a 4 star because of the amount of waste you incur with all of the end pieces they include. Each piece is like a puzzle piece and once you get started and use a piece or two with the end pieces attached, the rest is waste and must be peeled off and discarded. Greatmats should sell the pieces without the end pieces and allow you to purchase a few that you may need. I ended up with 3 big black bags of useless end pieces when I did my entire basement.

The foam carpet squares were easy to install and look great in our downstairs bedroom. We installed them over a painted concrete floor, and now the room is much warmer and comfortable. We’re retired, so the cost and ease of installing the flooring by ourselves was important. We were very pleased with our purchase.

This flooring is great! Install was super easy and quick. The flooring feels comfortable to walk/stand on, it doesn't slide around, and seems like it will last a long time. We used them for a game area in our corporate office. I was a bit nervous about ordering online without seeing samples or feeling it for myself, but I am 110% satisfied with these carpet squares!

I've been using it for a home recording studio and also as an exercise room. The mats install super easily. It's durable. It's easy to clean. It made the concrete floor a lot warmer. It has some nice insulation properties to it so it's a lot more comfortable on the feet. It feels really good on bare feet. It offers some sound insulation. It's really easy to trim to any customized shape. It has a nice bounce to it, which you don't get with regular carpet. It also beads water really well. Overall, I've been super happy with it. It's definitely improved the space as both a work space and a living space.
