Product is excellent, but what happened?

The product is excellent, this is my second purchase - this purchase was done online, as my local store did not one, and I do not have my pick-up truck any longer, so home delivery was a good option - the box was in pretty bad shape - attempts had been made to tape up one end, with clear cellophane like tape, and in retrospect, the poles could easily have fallen out, through the damage - where the box damage was, it was the bottom, and it appeared it had been wet, and the cardboard compromised - the only instructions were on the back of the box, with no printed assembly instructions - there is usually information on the number of parts, for each individual part - none located - started the assembly and was in the last stages, when I found I was missing TWO “corner poles” of the 16 that are required, so I have an unfinished cabinet - called RubberMain customer service - complaints are only taken via a contact process, via email - complaint filed on 7/11, with response yet - there is no process to view or purchase replacement parts, as at this point, I just want to finish the cabinet, to finish the project - on the contact process with RubberMaid, they suggest pictures or other documentation, which I did - again calling there CS number, ends when they basically state “use online” - and there is no email saved as documentation, I sent a complaint

The finished product is fine however, getting there is a bumpy ride. The instructions on the side of the box are rudimentary and lack detail. A sheet of instructions would be more helpful. One of the back pieces had not been drilled necessitating the need for me to acquire a proper drill saw. Many of the pieces were not trimmed and there were numerous punch out circular pieces inside where the drilling had been done. Very sloppy work and inspection.

I've had this for 2 or 3 years. Looks just like it did the day I received it. This is a wonderful cabinet. I have it on the carport and it holds all my flower garden tools and my husband has all his oil for the vehicles, anti-freeze and windshield washer fluid. Made extremely well and durable.

It’s easy to assemble. Not for storing valuables.

So I already had a Rubbermaid cabinet I purchased 14 years, but only half the size. It’s built similarly, but there’s been design improvement. Comparing the two. I’m expecting this one to last just as long.

Fantastic purchase. Worth every penny. Its sturdy and good size. I keep it on my deck to store my pet food and litter. Keeps everything safe and dry.

Would not buy again or even receive

Does not line up as it should. Plastic is cut haphazardly and cheaply made. Not what I expected at all for a Rubbermaid product.

Terrible Terrible nd more Terrible , taking hours to put together and directions on the box not in paper form . It’s also an ugly color grey . I’m so sorry we made the purchase , if my husband wasn’t trying to put the million tubes together and its weight to put into our car I would gladly run to return it !!! Beware do NOT buy !!! Save and time !

Sturdy, easy to assemble. Really neatened our garage for a reasonable price. Provides excellent storage for everything including Christmas decorations.

very poor quality

i remember when rubbermaid meant quality well not anymore we bought three of these cabinets for our garage spending roughly 800 dollars well all i can say is these are junk none of the plastic is trimmed doors dont fit right or close correctly so will never buy again so save yourself alot of money and buy another brand very disapointed customer

A Closed Cabinet

Was solid when all parts were snapped in place. Instructions printed on the side of the box. Not great in descriptions of what to do when and lettering was blurry. You kind of had to guess what went where. Be sure to snap all pieces together as it will be trouble to get them together after a bit.

This cabinet was well worth the months it took to arrive. Instructions for putting it together are on the large side of the box so be careful when removing items. It was very easy to put together from someone who is not all that handy. No problems, all the parts were there. It is strong and sturdy with plenty of room. I am putting my larger cooking appliances (Nesco, versa-cooker, large crock pot, griddle, cookie sheetscooling racks, etc) into the cabinet to free up space in my pantry. We are considering getting a second cabinet to organize our flowergarden items. Very pleased with our cabinet. Strong, good height in shelves, doors shut securely and a great addition to out garage.

This is an awesome cabinet, we use it by the pool yo hold towels, sunscreen, pool toys. Have had it for 2 years and still looks new. Easy to put together and move around.

Arrived Damaged

This is really a shoddy product. Thin, very pliable plastic. Box was crushed, shelves were broken. Don't purchase this.

Great cabinet

Could have been better directions, as the pictures on the box were covered over with stickers, but in the end a very good, stable, long lasting, and weatherproof cabinet. Would buy it again.

It would not allow me to not mark any stars, so I had to check 1....

I have this on my garage to put extra pots and pan. Loved, holds a lot. And you can put a locker at the door. Definitely a great buy , if you need to store anything. Definitely will buy again

excessive molding flash

Spent hours trimming and sanding molding flash so doors would open and close. Rubbermaid has really gone down hill. Will avoid Rubbermaid in future

Confusing at best, instruction-wise. Hard to seat posts evenly. Too long to assemble. Not thrilled with the end result. Will go a different route next time. Not Rubbermaid

Sturdy cabinet. Easy to assemble. Count pieces!

Very sturdy cabinet. Easy to assemble. One part was missing. I often have trouble with missing parts for these types of cabinets. Count all of your pieces before assembly! The company should be able to send you a replacement part, but this will save you time.

Very good

Everything is great. Read a few reviews about doors not closing properly. We made sure it was placed on level ground and all is great. Also read about molds being poorly molded during production, nothing a carpenters knife couldn't fix easily. Very happy with it.
