Disappointed

I am very dissatisfied with the plastic line. I made multiple purchases of the brilliance line in glass and plastic when moving into our new home. They are not microwave safe nor dishwasher. Let’s just say when I called Rubbermaid and I was told that they can only go in the microwave for 30 seconds and that they should go on the top rack in the dishwasher. Not sorry that you feel that way can we offer you a promo code etc. while she chewed in my ear. Nevertheless, DO NOT GET THE PLASTIC.

Cloudy after first dishwasher wash?

I did a lot of research on these containers before purchasing. This package of pantry containers were purchased along with an assorted 10 piece package of the same brand. Upon opening, it said wash before use (as is expected!). I washed this pantry set in the dishwasher and handwashed the other set. The smaller container in this box (that was washed in the dishwasher) is still crystal clear, but all three of the taller/larger pantry ones became cloudy. They were all sitting right alongside one another in the dishwasher. The packaging said dishwasher safe. I'm not sure why the discrepancy between the larger ones and the smaller one. (All the other pieces from the other box that were handwashed are still crystal clear as well. But they are all smaller sizes). They seem like they will work out fine for what I plan to use them for, I was just perplexed and somewhat disappointed that 3 out of 4 became cloudy after the "wash before use" first wash!
