An $80 lid shouldn't have to be replaced. The pins that connect the swing top to the external lid break. We use it in a light duty office breakroom, it does not get abused.

We used to have these in a building I worked at before. I loved how there wasn’t ever spills around the garbage, what you threw in always went down. I suppose the designed system of how they built this was pretty brilliant. Easily to clean if stuff does spill on top. Recommend for commercial places.

I would suggest this product and the whole garbage can to others because the swing lid may have to be replaced after literally 10 years of hard use but it is very durable .

You do not get the trash can in the picture

Great trash can lid... But you dont get the actual trash can. And my company doesnt have the trash can on our approved list. So now I have a lid for nothing...

Very frustrated that the top of a garbage can costs so much. We bought most of our cans from Home Depot. Terrible customer service experience on the phone unless I go in to ask questions or try to send it back. Not happy.

I received phenomenal customer service when I ordered the Rubbermaid Trash can lid. We are required to keep our trash covered and the lids tend to disappear. Unfortunately, when I received the lid, it was the wrong size. Actually, I think I ordered the wrong size. So when I called to let them know the problem, Global immediately sent me another lid at no charge-no shipping cost even! I think Global went above and beyond to make their customer happy. I will definitely order from them again when the need arises.
