This is a replacement set and the original set that I used daily for microwave boiling, storing food in the refrigerator, and lasted for nine months. One after another they eventually cracked from the boiling but I highly recommend this item because they lasted for a longtime.

great thanksgiving hostess gift

bought several sizes to take as a hostess gift to a lady who was cooking thanksgiving at her house....she wouldnt let me bring anything....but as a southern lady....i took throw away rubbermaid containers to help her be able to send leftovers home with people

Affordable Quality

Excellent quality and value. Very secure lids with tight seal. Perfect for keeping for fresh longer, and they are durable for longer usage and safe for microwave or reheating food. Stackable and small enough for storage without taking up much room in the cabinet.

Sturdy and inexpensive

This is my favorite size storage container from Rubbermaid. I like that the lids are interchangeable with other size Rubbermaid containers. These are sturdy yet inexpensive.

Wonderful, love love love

I buy take-along containers all the time. I genuinely love them. One reason I like them is that I like to cook and give gifts to others. By using the take-along, I never have to worry about the recipient returning my container, and whomever I gift has a container that can be used repeatedly.

Excellent product

Just don’t put them on your stove where the vent of your oven is or you will have to replace them like I did mine… and if you have trouble holding onto them don’t use them in the freezer as I have broken a few by dropping them with frozen food in them. I keep buying more so obviously they are really good in my opinion! This is like my fourth or fifth batch. I am elderly so I’m do for a break and these are the perfect size for my leftovers.

Have used Rubbermaid for years. Good product

I am a widow. I share with my neighbors when I have extra servings. I give them the bowl and all. They warm it in the microwave for a homemade meal or sometimes a big slab of dessert. They seal well and are a good price. I shared meals with a man and his little dog for months in these containers. He died in his sleep. I was happy to be able to encourage neighbors to eat well, not, frozen trays of little nutrition. I also keep a dish of wrapped candies at all times in the common area for them to have when doing laundry.

I am not taking pictures of my messed up containers. Lol!!! But they are the best for storing things in the fridge or freezer. They are easy to clean and sometimes leave a stain with red sauces but I learned a hack for that. Very portable to carry to work and use the microwave if need be.

Great Containers for the Price

Excellent for what I needed. Just be aware that the low cost is indicative of a thinner, less sturdy container. These are only a 5 cup size, so they're not extra large. The quality and performance is sufficient for most short term refrigerated items or leftovers.

Rubbermaid Take Alongs, Deep

I like these bowls a lot %26 this is the perfect size for me. The only negatives are the same as most plastic dishes: even when washed, grease tends to remain on the surface; the plastic retains stains, especially tomato based sauces; %26 the surface is easily marked if a knife is used, however I've not had one crack like some other brand's plastic will.

Great food storage boxes. They have no smell, close well. Easy to wash. Compact for storage in the closet. Their ease of use is impressive. This is a great choice.

Save money on meals and prep.

I use these containers for meal prep and left overs. I can put them in the freezer and let the lunch meal thaw through the day and then simply warm it up in the microwave. The containers are sturdy enough that they don't warp or bend after heating up causing a spill. Great for meals, fruits, snacks and left overs. Perfect size for a simple sandwich too.

good, but only usable a few times

Overall these are good containers, but they do stain and have a white substance form on them after a few uses. I use these for freezing sauces, soups, chili and other leftovers and dispose of them when the white stuff starts apearing.

Rubbermaid storage container

Rubbernaid is a product I can trust, It is durable and fits my needs. Plus, the design is nice. I bought them to take a sandsiwch and fixings to an ailing friend. I like that they are useful and not expensive

Handy, hardy, inexpensive.

These are great. If you lose one or it is damaged, it is easily replaced. The seals hold well with absolutely no spillage from soups or stews. You can use them to reheat in the microwave but I don't recommend doing that often or going beyond a couple of minutes.

Perfect Size for a Personal Salad!

Perfect size for a personal salad! Just chop what you’d like in a salad, including lettuce, tomato, cheeses, boiled egg, etc. Then cover the top with mayonnaise, sealing everything in the bowl. Sprinkle a bit of sugar on top, and add more cheese. Seal it with the lid, and place it in the fridge overnight. When ready to serve, stir with a fork before eating.

I’m a great fan, but since you asked…

This product is on par with today’s standards of expectations. I have had Rubbermaid products in our homes for years. They are great. However if I may just say that I am disappointed for two reasons.

Great versatile product that is easily transported for food on the go. Anytime convenience. This definitely simplifies life by streamlined takeaway by reducing waste and creating an anvironmenral friendly option that is washable with no stryrofoam waste to dispose of! Great idea!

These Rubbermaid containers are pretty great. They're tough, don't leak, and you can toss 'em in the microwave without worry. Love that they're BPA-free too. Only bummer? They stain like crazy and getting the stains out is near impossible. Still, I'd say they're worth it. Solid choice for keeping your leftovers fresh and budget friendly.
