The rug is made with quality. But overstock has a problem with their inventory and stock numbers. The rug I ordered has navy blue when the photos and description has black. For me not a deal breaker, but is very annoying and should be corrected.

This rug is huge and beautiful! The colors are slightly different - less golden than the photos on the website, but this isn't a problem for me. It is super heavy and unwieldy just in case you don't expect that. We have had it for two years in a very sunny room and the portions of the carpet nearest the windows are slightly faded, but i would expect that from any vibrantly colored carpet.

Love the size, the quality, and the colors. It camevery quickly and was exactly as described.

This is a really pretty rug. The colors are deep and luxurious. I have it placed on top of wall-to-wall carpeting in a very high-traffic area. It hasn't shown any signs of wear in several years, and I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it. Be careful with vacuum cleaners, though, so that the fringe doesn't get sucked up.

Serapi Wool Rug

This rug looked great in the online photos. I was expecting the rich reds, rusts, golds and blacks. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was very muted, navy rather than black, and more grey than gold. I do have to say, Overstock was great in providing a return label and I was quickly credited, once the rug was shipped back.

Colors Are Completely Different

Good quality for the price, but if you're looking for this exact color scheme, avoid. This photo must have a warm filter on it - all the colors are actually far cooler.

More rust than orange, but very nice and is perfect for the entry.

Not that Vivid

I purchased the 21 ft runner that is exactly like this 6 X 9. It has a vivid pattern and a dark red/rust center. The matching 6 X 9 is a much light rust color and the pattern it more blurred. It also has a strong chemical smell that the other one didn't. I'm wondering if the runner was vegetable dye and the area rug was chemically dyed. Either way, for being identical rugs they sure look different. I also, purchased a 10 X 14 Mahal from the same company that didn't have that smell and is much more vivid as well. If the smell dissipates then I will keep the rug. However, combine the smell with the blurry pattern and different color, it might just not be worth it. ,

Quality is very good. Uniform hooking, colors vibrant and decent plush. I wanted to love it but It is really rust and navy/not black as described on line. It didn't go at all. Sent it back.

Okay - not exceptional, and colors off

In person, this rug looks very different from the website. The gold areas are actually more ivory and rust is on the extreme red end of the rust spectrum - really changes the look of the rug - at first I thought you'd sent the wrong rug. We decided to keep it because of the tremendous hassle it would have been to wrap it back up and return it - but I feel like I'm "settling," and wouldn't have purchased this rug if I had seen it in person first.

This works but not what I expected

I have the 10-foot runner but I got the last one so my rug isn't online to review -- however, I'm doing this review for the other size to alert buyers that the color in the photo is not accurate (this seems to be a problem with Overstock, judging from the many reviews saying that actual rugs are darker than photos). In the actual rug the red color ranges from a near-burgundy at one end to peach in the middle to more of a dark rust at the other end. Also, the accent is not black as stated in the description but dark blue (the maker's tag on the rug even said "rust and blue" ). Having said that, the rug is beautifully dyed with intricate designs and color variations that imitate a vintage rug. I wanted to coordinate my entry with the living room rug which is an antique Bakhtiari containing brilliant red-orange and other bright colors (with a dark blue border). Of course I knew that the new rug wouldn't look the same but I hoped it would be a little closer, like the photos indicated. Still, the rug makes a nice statement inside my front door. I'm shopping for another rug now but I think I may have to order a couple of small ones to check the color before ordering a big one.
