Not quite ready to install

The two little screws that you have to remove to change bulbs are fine threaded so I put anti-seize compound on them before I reassembled the light. There was also a sticker on the reflector and after peeling it off there was a big patch of adhesive residue residue which required special solvent to remove it. Wouldn’t come off with wd40 or paint thinner. Finally I needed to enlarge the hole in the reflector by about 1/32 of an inch so that I could install a LED light.

I purchased the Best Pro Lighting Low Voltage Rust Outdoor Flood Light, The comes with a Halogen light Blub,Light is not set up for LED blubs, I was able to convert the lamp to accept a 20 Watt LED Blub which only draws 31/2 watts as compared to a 120 watt halogen blub.I ordered the mounting plate from HD and everything fell into place perfectly.

Worth it!

Excellent value, good well made product with replaceable LED light. Comes with two bulbs, one bright and the other dim. The light that died had a non replaceable bulb so this one will be easy to fix five or six years from now.

Lights already burned out

We bought 9 of these lights to light up trees along our fence wall. We bought these in April 2023. A month later 5 out of the 9 of the lights already have burned out bulbs. They only come on at night with a photocell. Very disappointing to send this much and we’d already have to change out the light bulbs. Not worth the money. Changed them all out for LED lights. So much brighter and we know they’ll last longer than a month.

The light gives off distinct shadow lines when on. The light should provide a constant smooth spot/flood light without lines but unfortunately the lines greatly detracts from the light. I plan on replacing the light with another brand. DO NOT bother installing this fixture.

only thing is I wish the ground stakes were not plastic---afraid where the head and stake screw in to each other --the arizona sun is going to make that connection too brittle

Great floodlight

High quality and work great with 5W LED bulbs (50W equivalent). . . . . More subtle lighting for wide angle coverage. Recommend using these to accent spotlights on specific features. I used both together.
