Fell apart after 4 months

We put this out on our patio, a protected spot, in early June. It was gently used: we cranked it closed in wind or heavy rain, but it otherwise stood open over our small outdoor dining table through the summer. Less than 4 months later we noticed that one of the connecting pieces for one of the ribs or spine had spontaneously broken. To the trash it goes. I suppose one season of use is all we should have expected for the price.

works for me. dnt need the best. saying im simple,and it works perfect. lil flimsy, but just take dwn down in higher wind over 10 or so. no biggie. ❣❣

What a value!

Why do they even sell umbrellas for higher prices than this one when this design is perfect… came assembled, light breathable material, water beads off easily, the cream color is accurate in the listing: not white, more like a warm cozy cream. I have not had any issues with broken pieces from wind damage likely due to my very heavy duty weighted base. My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to sit exactly 100% balanced straight up and tight in the anchoring hole (which may be my base) but it’s not enough off enough to deter me from getting another, and not a safety issue. Do yourself a favor and invest in a great base, and get this umbrella for your space. What a deal. Thank you!

Great little umbrella!

Our last umbrella was too big. This little beauty is 7.5 feet. Perfect for our small back porch. The dark brown is beautiful with the trim on our house and will not show the juice stains from our mulberry tree.

Low price/High quality!

I was so surprised at the quality of this product. Mine was carried away in a storm and I didn’t want to spend a lot on a replacement because we have high winds often. This umbrella is very high quality and perfect for our patio table.

Good, but seams didn't last long

I really love the crank, and the versatility of the tilting ability. Unfortunately, even though I've only had it 4 months, the fabric has already ripped so now one of the arms is no longer secured. Even worse, I'm past the return date

Excellent quality

The patio umbrella's color has a deep and vivid red shade. It has all of the features I was looking for, such as an open-and-close crank and a tie that keeps it closed. It is easy for a senior to operate. It seamlessly fits into our little patio table set. We used a BCP umbrella stand, which we are also pleased with.

wrong color

i had an event planned and needed the umbrella for the event. i ordered baby blue. it is purple and says purple on the box. im very disappointed. i have too much going on in my life to take the time to return it to walmart.

Great item

The umbrella is the perfect size for the patio. It’s easy to install, the crank is easy to use to open, and the tilting latch is not hard to operate. The wind flap at the top is great because it doesn’t trap the heat and allows the wind to escape so the umbrella doesn’t act like a sail. I love the velcro strap which keeps it closed when not in use.

Shade Hero

This umbrella is umbrella-ing. Makes shade like a boss. Used it in the garden to give my veggies a break from the southern heatwave we’ve had. Cranks great and has survived some storms (closed of course otherwise she’d be Mary Poppins floating in the sky).

well made umbrella

This umbrella is of high quality material and about the nicest I have seen including some resorts. The water filled base is very adequate for the 7.5 foot umbrella. We live on top of a windy hill and no problems so far.

Too hard to crank down

Umbrella ratchets open easily. Closing it takes 2 hands. No easy ratchet! Tried WD-40. Didn't help. Emailed Best Choice %26 AI had no clue. Don't buy unless you 're strong!

We have had our umbrella for a couple of weeks now. It is exactly what I expected--right color, good quality, easy to set up, and use. It was out of stock when I first ordered, but didn't take long to get re stocked. I was very impressed with the DELIVERY process--was kept up to date the whole time. THANKS!!

Just what we needed

Temps this summer are super hot in the desert so we need a little extra shade for people, pets and plants. Plus shade helps keep utilities down. The shipment was delayed, but also shipped during the July 4th holiday. The umbrella is good quality and the color true to the picture.

Love this!

I was going to take a photo of this, but I have the tilt on so that the umbrella blocks the sun off my largest window so the house stays cooler inside. The AC is broken so I thought this might work and it has. Later I am going to use it at the end of my garden over a small patio table and chair so I can create " my space" to rest and admire the garden. Buy it! Love the color, love the fabric, Love the size of this, and the quality is good I will buy another.

finally got it to work

when this arrived it was obvious that it had been returned and reshipped. the box was taped all over. when i unloaded from the box, did enough one of the poles was out of round. i was finally able to use my pliers to round it enough to fit inside the other pole. very disappointing

nice umbrella for the price

The umbrella, while delivered a day late, arrived packaged well and intact. It is a sturdy umbrella and shades exactly where needed. Color was a bit darker and more vamel colored than the tan i ordered but otherwise fully satisfied. 4 star is due to receive umbrella layer than promised.

Excellent Product

I am really happy with my patio umbrella. It has held up well in the wind. My plants underneath it are thriving. Before they were not happy from all the intense sun.
