[Rewarded Review] Basswood Live Edge

Shipment was delivered and packaging was damaged. shipping must have had many stops along the way. Box was about to disintegrate. Inside the live edge wood was not damaged. Live edge looks great and just what I was looking for. The wood is very soft and light weight. Perfect for display on wall with a certificate attached. Will make a great gift or use in my office.

[Rewarded Review] Very beautiful wood planks

I really like these 1 in. x 12" x 16" Basswood Live Edge planks from Walnut Hollow. They are listed as 1" thick but are really 3/4" thick which for my use makes no difference. The Basswood has a beautiful grain and in a lighter color". The wood might not be exactly 12" wide(I have one that is about 14" at the very bottom of one plank)but again that is fine with me. This wood is perfect for doing CNC Router engraving or Laser engraving. The live edge really helps to make the wood have an outstanding visual look. It helps give the wood an "old time mountain life" appearance. I will be picking up more at my next trip to Home Depot.

[Rewarded Review] Nice boards

If I could give this 4 1/2 stars I would. Deducting because a little bark fell off during shipping - the boards were just in a box without any shrink wrap or any other protection. Also, the difference in size between the largest and smallest board is quite noticeable. I plan to use these for entertaining so neither of those issues is a big deal. The top/bottom is nice and smooth with no knotting or pitting.
