Very nice
I chose this shelf unit because it looked like it was very sturdy being made from black iron pipe. Well, I was wrong about the black iron pipe, but correct about it being sturdy, and I honestly think that’s a good thing. It’s made from thin walled steel and made to look like black iron pipe with faux fittings and brackets. While these are not as thick and strong as iron pipe, it is nowhere near as heavy or expensive. It assembled very easily and looks great, but at a much lighter weight then if it used real iron pipe. This means there is no unnecessary weight on your walls. While I highly recommend attaching this to studs, since it is lighter weight a good drywall anchor would probably work as well. Overall I’m very happy with the look and construction of this.
Not as heavy as it looks
This shelf - Towel Bar combo is not as heavy as it looks, but it is plenty sturdy enough. It was easy to put together, but I did need an extra long extension for my drill driver and place the clutch in the lowest setting so that I didn't strip the small screws that went into the shelves. I could have screwed them in by hand, but it took quite a bit to get them started into the shelf material. The installation took about 30 minutes, but some of that was having to make sure that I missed the water pipe and electrical wire that was inside the wall. The bottom holes were at a different width apart, so it is important to set it on the wall and mark each hole. I installed the top two screws and then marked all of the holes before proceeding to insure they were all correctly aligned.
Double shelf unit.
I received the Danya B Olivia double shelf unit with towel rod, brown/ black. This is made in China. It needed assembly, and had instructions and was easy to read. No problem assembling. Really happy with the industrial look. The wood boards have a nice grain. I installed it in 1 of my bathrooms that is more industrial styled. It looks sooo good on the wall. Very happy with it.
