In spite of the name that includes Barrel and Bucket,...

In spite of the name that includes Barrel and Bucket, these are planters that do not hold water. Even if you plug the drain hole they leak like a sieve. They are fine as planters, and it is described that way in the detailed discription, but the name is very misleading. What I needed is something to make a tub full of water and what I got was usless for that purpose.

Wood slats are loose and slide around. The metal rings aren't tight enough to hold the wood in place. I'll be returning

These look so good with the brown trim on our house! Very solid. They allow the water to filter out so it does not rot the plants. We are very pleased with these.

There a good size, and worked well.

Shockingly expensive but

you get what you pay for. I love this sturdy, pretty pot, and my plants will too. It's large enough to combine my 3 lonely plants with their parent plant, and blends beautifully with my decor.

These whiskey barrel planters seemed like a good/attractive idea, but...

These whiskey barrel planters seemed like a good/attractive idea, but they are treated with something chemically noxious which apparently isn’t mold-proof. White mold is forming on the outside of every one of them after only a couple of weeks (note: they are housing plants INSIDE a well-ventilated greenhouse). God forbid you need to water whatever you planted in them. And one of my avocado trees planted in them is getting some nasty droop (that isn’t due to a lack of proper watering).
