Great little table for the price

Easy assembly until you get to the final tightening of the leg bolts. You'll need small hands, a headlamp, and a shorter Allan wrench than the one provided. I had all three and the table still turned out a wee bit wonky, but easily fixed with felt pads under the feet. Nice oak color that makes it look more expensive than it is.

Solid side table for my oversized sofa! Finding a medium finish is really difficult. The finish is slightly red not brown or gold. I have had it for several months and love it. Was very easy to put together and it is saving a bad back from constantly bending to reach a coffee table. It is veneer covered and fits a tight spot easily.

I needed 8-10" end tables for a very small room in my condo. These are perfect. They are great quality for the price. I believe in value, and most furniture stores sell cheap furniture at high prices. These beat the quality of most furniture stores. Paint and finish are very well done and the tables are solid and sturdy. I am very pleased I took the time to order. Shipping was flawless and they arrived in perfect condition.

Nice side tables for skinny areas

I have a smaller living room, and these are an awesome size to go next to couch. They are decent quality for build it yourself kits, and I like them well enough. They went together very easily and are pretty sturdy, and they are level! If you're looking for something quick to put together and a decent table at a pretty cheap price, then these would definitely work for you!

A very nicely put together table sturdy for such small table. No scratches or dings and really beautiful top. Easy to put together and perfect for next to my couch in a small room. I love it so much I ordered a second one for the other side of couch. I have the black with oak top. Beautiful! Would revommend to anyone needing a small sturdy table!

Be cautious assembling this KD Furnishings Table

The chairside table was what I expected but assembling was difficult. The assemble instructions show adding the four legs first and then add the bottom shelf pegs and then putting the shelf on top of the pegs. After I completed adding the four legs and then the botton self, the shelf would not fit, it was too big. I had to lossen all 8 screws from the legs, then put the shelp on the pegs and then tighten the screws back again. This caused a small space between the legs and the table top. When I tightened one of the eight screws, the cross-member it was screwed in to, broke.

This was pretty easy to assemble, even for me. I thought the instructions were well designed and easy to follow. I did have trouble installing the bottom shelf because I had tightened the legs but it was easy enough to reverse the process and add the shelf first then put the pegs in behind it. Table is the right size for my wall & is a good spot to store my keys. Overall happy with the purchase

Great Narrow Table

This room is full of furniture and I wasn't going to add any more. After a few days, I decided that I needed narrow tables to set books/beverages on that would complement the large furniture pieces in our family room. I came across these tables and took a risk. Amazing! The size, quality, and the easy assembly caused me to order two more. Now we have four in this room.

Good buy!

I recently purchased this item. Because oak is hard to find, I decided to give this one a try. The wood is very sturdy with a lovely finish. It was easy to put together with simple to understand instructions. The finished product looks like an expensive piece of furniture. Very satisfied with my purchase. Cherry finish was not available, but I hope to find that eventually.

One of two good.

Bought Two chair side tables. The first table went together very easily and had all the parts and nice wood top was already installed. 2nd table the wood top not installed and 6 broken screws in the box and the broken other parts stuck in the top wooden nice board. Had to remark the bottom of the top board and re drill all 6 holes and purchase new screws to install top board. Had to drill holes slightly away from the broken screws stuck in the bottom of the top finish board. Not cool!

The color of the Ash/Oak Veneer was depicted well.

Arrived well packed and in great condition. One drawer glide was broken in transport, box was torn. Fixed with a tip (from detachable screw driver) on vise grips since drawer opening too small to axcess. Thankfully extra drawer glides were provided with hardware. Be sure to follow direction in assembly of not tightening bolts until able to pull legs apart for shelf as not to scratch. Fits perfect in small space.

Put bottom shelf between legs before tightening

This is a sturdy table. The drawer is very small. Main disappointment is there was no assembly picture or instructions - I have 2 little plastic angle pieces left that I don't know where they go. Also after legs were tightened I discovered I needed to put bottom shelf before tightening legs. LOL. Nice finish on tabletop.

Perfect end tables!

Perfect!! These are slim enough to saddle up closely to each side of my couch without taking too much space, yet fulfilling their purpose! I bought two, and a set of lamps for each as well. They are the perfect size to capacitate my needs for side tables without filling a room too tightly, with a big coffee table in front. And they are very classic looking; the wood is gorgeous. So pleased!!

Not perfect but it serves our purpose.

We love this table because on the whole it looks great and it fits the spot where we wanted it perfectly - but it did arrive with one flaw, the preassembled drawer that goes into the top of the table was not quite put together correctly at the factory. The sides of the drawer do not fit into the slots on the inside of the front and therefore the front of the drawer is not flush. It does not seem to be something we can fix without harming the drawer as it is pretty jammed together in this state. But when the drawer is closed it's not too noticeable so I guess we'll live with it.

Do not buy these tables

This table fits where I needed a narrow end table. It is heavy, and is mostly hardwood, very pretty oak. It didn't come with instructions which frustrated me, but I did get it assembled. It is so narrow that it isn't very stable but works for me because it fits tight to the loveseat. I would not buy another one because of that and because the drawer is so tiny. It is tiny because of it was larger the table would not be able to be assembled.

Perfect for a tight space

We got a new sectional for our small den and really wanted tables on either side of it but every narrow table I saw was too wide. Most "skinny tables" measures 12" to 14" but we only have 10-1/4" of space between the wall and each arm of the sofa. I saw these for sale online through a couple of merchants but Hayneedle was the least expensive - and had the tables in stock. These fit our space perfectly. The wood isn't the finest quality but it works for a family area. I wasn't crazy about the colonial look handles so I replaced them with something more appropriate. It is so nice to have a little tabletop on which to keep a coffee mug and remote control.

The perfect skinny armchair table.

We have two rather large (wide) recliners and we needed a small spot to put the TV remote and also not to have anything fall between the armrests. This skinny, but sturdy little table does the trick. It had a nice little draw for other remotes or just stuff, and the bottom shelf is perfect for a bag of chips or a package of cookies!! Love this table. It remains true to the photo. Very easy to assemble.

Nice little side table. Perfect for what I intend to use it for. Color is true. The drawer makes it harder to assemble. Especially for someone with larger hands. But overall it's simple to put together.

Did the job

I was looking for two tables in our TV room on either side of the couch for a lamp and coasters. Before we had one larger table on one end and it seemed I never got access to the end with the table to put my glass of water. We chose these because space was limited. They look nice. Seem sturdy enough - my hubby assembled them before I got home, so I can't comment on that! They aren't Ethan Allen, but they don't look out of place next to our furniture that is! After 6.5 years with these I've painted them twice. The first time about 4 years in was because the finish on top was getting pretty warn. The second time was to coordinate with other furnishings. They hold paint well and are sturdy. I keep using the original hardware because it looks great. Overall, they're great tables!

Cool end table for a tight space

I purchased this table to go at the end of my sofa because I only had a small space and I wanted to use it to hold drinks or other items. It is really easy to put together and looks better in person than the display pics. It is light weight and can be assembled with only 1 person with the provided hardware. I have owned this for about a year now and it has held up really good to my family's daily activities. The only downside is the legs are a bit warped but I have it sitting on a rug so you can't really notice it. If you are putting it on a hard surface you may conciser putting felt pads under the uneven legs. Enjoy!
